I got here trying to confirm my near-certain hunch that Spanish Bombs was the theme song to Q, which recently started playing in my town. Nice tune, nice lesson, nice guy -- but the intro is practically identical, beginning with the drums.

Although I'm sure it wasn't intentional, this is unmistakably VERY similar to The Clash - Spanish Bombs.

I'm so glad I found this video! I've heard it many many times but suddenly had the urge to try playing it, so this tutorial is awesome.

So, Hava Nagila is *IN* the public domain, then? I've been wondering for a few years who did this.

At least the 'closing' theme at the end of the video (if not also in the opening), the A has an add9 (like x02420)

Luke Doucet's remarkable! I totally learnt that '3rd on the bottom' chord from him which he uses for the D. Same chord he rips in Cleavland off his Blood's too Rich record. Fantastic music.

He's one of Canada's best guitarists. Maybe he is the best. This is very good stuff.
