Aara - Eiger (Full Album Premiere)

I am very happy to be on this ride with Aara.

The last release with the leading track Heimgesucht cemented them as an all time favourtie band. This album while having that distinctive Aara sound is most certainly a different vibe.
Even the cymbals sound Icy!! Everything has a certain cold harshness to it. Its fantastic production.

Todesbiwak is getting me the most with the great composition, the use of the acoustic guitars is fantastic. Vocals great as always, never too much and always seem to be placed in a great spot.

Thanks for all the work!! I will be buying most definitely.

The north wall of Eiger is often called Mordwand (Murderous Wall). How cool is that? I'm surprised they didn't use it as a title although I understand they wanted to avoid the obvious and cliche elements.
