Just a tip! Was struggling to wrap my head around whole whole half whole whole whole half, it helped me to think about it as 0 2 2 1 2 2 2 1, with 0 being your starting key and 2 accounting for a 2 'Piano key' jump, 1 is a 1 'piano key' jump (On a 12 note system)
ОтветитьA big thanks for your existence sir love you.❤ From india🇮🇳
ОтветитьI've started playing piano today.
Ответитьi dont even have a piano but this is so entertaining to watch
ОтветитьThis was an awesome piece of music lecture!
ОтветитьJust thought of something to help memorize the major vs minor chords. A major chord plays the root note, goes over 4 semitones, then goes over 3 semitones. 4 and 3; 43. A minor chord goes 3 then 4; 34. 34 is smaller than 43 like how something minor is smaller than something major
Ответитьwhy is the collection of 7 note called a 'key' here and on all other resources a 'scale'? genuine noob question
ОтветитьAndrew. Pleeeeeaassee show me where to get that shirt!!
ОтветитьI wanted to learn music theory, not rocket science 😭🙏🙏
Ответитьa h , i t ' s a c a t
Ответитьlol... "it's a cat"... 🍵
ОтветитьGod damn, who tf watches this
ОтветитьLove that Tshirt!!
ОтветитьI have been playing piano since I was 12 just by ear, and it’s amazing to see in theory what I already knew just from listening and playing by myself. Sometimes music is just something you feel and understand with earing and practice!! Never had to know what a key was to understand keys and how chords work. It’s like I just watched instructions on how to breathe for me. Amazing.
ОтветитьI finally understand the degrees in MUSIIIIICCC
ОтветитьThank you so much for this man! I can tell this video was made in 2019, it's got such a 2017-2019 Marques Brownlee type style lol. I'ma definitely have to watch this video a couple times and go through the practice drills, but I think this was a great place to start, the video was very easy to follow along, at least after a while. Have a great day man

ОтветитьIsn't that "beat idea" literally just pornhub intro?
ОтветитьWhenever chord progressions would be explained to me I would always get stumped but this really helped, thank you :)
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьGreat video 😊 I had a music teacher in highschool ... we studied Peter and the Wolf ... and how the different instruments were different characters... but my absolute favourite lesson was when we listened to Jeff Waynes Musical version of War of the World's... mind blown
