ОтветитьHis unibrow was crazy work
ОтветитьThat was F'n awesome. Thank you
ОтветитьThat wookie comment after getting married. That was gold.
ОтветитьMakes me proud to b a Marine
ОтветитьMy grandfather was one of those people that he saved if it wasn't for him I literally wouldn't be here thank you John for your sacrifice
ОтветитьWhen I was in, we didn't call them "p*ss cutters". We called them c*nt caps. PS: Iwo Jima was planned to be used as an emergency landing field for the new B-29 bombers, not the B-24s.
ОтветитьI heard greatness recognizes greatness.
ОтветитьIf ever there were a manner of reigniting America's pride, belief, and fighting spirit, YOU sir are it.
ОтветитьI kinda want a video crossover. John, Chin Lee...the pilot one.
Just everything that happened at Guadalcanal.
Yeah I feel you man I hate anything like that too but that guy did exactly what he was trained to do and Beyond and I love this channel you keep these guys memory alive and show some of these young ones what real honor is and sacrifice and you just given 😊lhim something you don't really fully appreciate it
ОтветитьDude, appreciate what you are attempting to do but can’t handle the language. Sorry.
ОтветитьAnother great history lessons
ОтветитьYou defiantly tell these hero's story perfect. Thanks
ОтветитьGod damn these stories make me such a fucking proud American.
ОтветитьJohn didn’t represent the American fighting spirit, he set the example of what we call the American fighting spirit today.
Ответитьcurious if you've ever thought about doing a video on MAC V SOG? 🤔
ОтветитьNicely done.
ОтветитьQuack
ОтветитьWhat a stud!
Ответить“And that’s why you don’t fuck with the Marines”
ОтветитьRequest. Do one about the U.S. Navy's AGER - 2
ОтветитьWell done, brother!
ОтветитьI'll never forget the day a WWII Marine Veteran that was on our Honor Guard said, "I'm not taking anything away from John Baslione, but some of us killed a lot more Japs than he did."
ОтветитьYou mean the new B-29 Bombers, right?
ОтветитьJohnson family should have moved to Somerville not raritan . Raritan is a crappy little town
ОтветитьI've seen this video multiple times and I just started wondering. Did John Basilone ever box against Lafayette Pool "War Daddy"?
ОтветитьTerrible ending. Great video though.
ОтветитьReminds me of a British guy who went to meet a fight with a umbrella and a sword.
ОтветитьThat scene when he knocks down a pile of bodies to clear the line of fire for the machine guns is, with quite a few others, depicted in The Pacific TV show.
ОтветитьWe had an event in the crucible simply called Basilone Hill. It involved dragging Marines up a near vertical face in shitty loose sand, and none of us were able to complete it by the time we had to move on. Basilone lives on with Marines 80 years later. Semper Fi, John.
Ответить“The army is too soft ma, I’m going with the Marines”
Fucking. Rah.
Wow, this 1 really hit me hard. Part of me is sad that he died the way he did but one thing you should never try to take from a man is his destiny. If Jon didn't have the mindset he wouldn't have been the amazing hero that he was. To all are men and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice in their call to duty my sincerest thanks and may your memories live on forever!
ОтветитьMan that ending... Dude went out like a boss. We should all be so lucky.
ОтветитьDo the p47!! Its the most bad ass fighter ever!
ОтветитьSo great.
ОтветитьWhen I went up north at boot camp, the drill instructor in charge of our bus was a Basilone fanatic. This man was what Chesty Puller wishes he was
ОтветитьTiny complait that made me feel like i was having a fuckin stroke. Johns tattoo wasnt "death or dishonor" but "death before dishonor" other than that great video.
ОтветитьThe Fat Electrician Is The Best!
ОтветитьNice job
