The first episode of my video podcast series – Ace The Information Age - How robust access to information has changed the way we think, act and function as humans.

This series is an attempt to seek and learn from information overload front-liners- people who are facing the information overload challenge head-on, to make important decisions on a daily basis.

My guest for this week – Charlelie Jourdan is an independent Creative strategist. He has worked extensively with Public sector clients like The European Commission & European Parliament, amongst many others.
Dealing with large amounts of information is a critical aspect of his job as he frequently needs to analyze client data & then strategize innovative solutions for them.

This interview took a hilarious turn when Charlelie (https://www.linkedin.com/in/charleliejourdan/) caught me off guard and shared some insights about me based on my LinkedIn profile. A very clever example of the creative workarounds he uses to the lack of information in certain areas which can sometimes be a hindrance to how people view his solutions as a consultant.

He further goes on to shed light on how information overload is a greater challenge than a lack of information for him & on his personal rule of not sharing any insights/pitches with clients unless he has 80% confidence in the information required to execute solutions faster and better.

In this insightful podcast, Charlelie elucidates on how this confidence is based on the source of information and how he categorizes them into 3 levels.

This interview is a landmine of nuggets on psychological references, examples and on how to navigate this noisy world for the most accurate information in both your personal and professional endeavors.

Charlelie briefly mentioned about the groundbreaking work of Daniel Kahneman, the renowned psychologist and winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics. Intrigued to know more about the two systems that drive the way we think? Read his New York Times Bestseller Thinking, Fast and Slow
