Hashem is the author of salvation. He is our savior, so therefore, we do have to be saved from something. It is the very thing that separated Adam and Eve from God in the garden. Our transgressions. God uses mediators for the purpose of salvation does He not?
Question, who is one in this chapter? It talks about one taking on the transgressions for Hashem's people.
"But He was wounded for our TRANSGRESSIONS, He was bruised for our INIQUITIES; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has LAID on Him the INIQUITY of us all. Mashiach is in the Torah. HaShem first creates the remedy. The world was created on behalf of the Jewish people. When they are united this is Moshiach.

The term "Messiah" derived from Mashiach. What does Mashiach mean?. A future King. The Messiah is the Anointed or Chosen One to rule. Amen.
