Great conversation on the key components of building an AI system and the differences between traditional ML and AI. Chip is a superstar in the field; this inspired me to check out her books! Also, great questions Matt.

Just bought the book, thanks so much for highlighting it. I think anyone on the finance side would gain a lot watching this video a couple of times.

I started screening long AI videos before watching them. I feed the transcript to a custom GPT and get a summary. Most videos out there present a few basic ideas with a lot of filler material around it. This episode is quite the opposite. I have never seen my GPT generate a podcast summary this long. Obviously, I started watching it and halfway through, I am already sure I need to revisit it later. One pass won't be enough. I will also read the book asap. I'm also impressed how Chip presented so many complicated topics without using any visuals. Great content!

Hi Matt, are you able to share some techniques to read the book so quickly during your last wkd? I thought it will take sometime to get to the point to know what the book is exactly all about.

Too much "so" too little content. Just a (trash) book PR.

Being a Chip, AI must come naturally to her 😀.
Jokes aside. Great talk. Thanks. It was very informative.

Do you have any PDF version of AI Engineering Chip Huyen book? Its hardcopy is very costly in India.
