Interesting.. So many different options. I initially used the Logitech USB webcam with built in microphone/Default. Then tried a headset, with mic. I noticed some electronic noise, when using an analogue input, via the PC sound card. Purchased a good quality USB standalone microphone gave some good results.
When recording outside using a Camcorder, it's a different scenario. The camcorder mic picks up wind noise. I would like to find a wireless mic of some description to attach to the camcorder.
Never have liked lapel microphones. Too much chance for extra noise. I really like a stationary microphone not attached to me. One of the best benefits to a stationary microphone (that most don't think about) is the ability to add some dynamics to your audio by adjusting your distance. Not something you want to do all the time obviously, but can be effective in making your audio stand out.
ОтветитьWhat would you recommend for someone that is on the go. Next week my wife has surgery and I will be in the hospital most of the week. I have been debating between pairing my Apple Air Pods that I use with my Iphone to purchasing the Surface headset (which does not have a flip down mike). I mostly need it to function in Teams (meeting and calling), Zoom meetings, and also responding with video emails in Bomb Bomb and Dubb. I am concerned that with no flip down mike on either the air pods or the headset that background noise could be a major distraction. Any recommendations?

ОтветитьGood video. What about using USB audio interface mixer with Camtasia.
