I adore autumn colour and have just inherited a new rented garden that is lacking colour. I lie awake at night planning my purchases. My landlord is from Iran, so Persian plants, of which there are thousands, are on my list. The Persian Ironwood is top of the list. And dont forget the bonus of deciduous plants... the leaves!
