Got to be honest this was a lame way for him to get Pandora’s box. I mean he throws a bolt to knock it out of Ares hand as Ares wouldn’t have noticed. Also give kratos enough time to get to the box and ares just watches him get to the box. He could have just picked it back up. Also that wooden stake he threw at him was right on point. I mean if he noticed that kratos got to the box in the temple, could he not have sensed his presence when he is right there? Lame

I remeber finally finding Pandora's box, and being happy and relieved only to get killed immediately by Ares then had to fight my way thru the Underworld and that damn rotating wall with the spikes. It took me almost a year to conquer it. I'm like the game developers were dicks for this! Lol. Even now when i replay it that damn rotating wall gets me...but its all worth it cause you get that badass fight at the end, and Kratos badass lines as he kills Ares.

Damn to think Ps2 Could Do this Dayummm they really did not go all out with other games compared to god of war series on a ps2

Aries might be underrated in terms of power. Only other god able to steal Kratos powers was Zeus. You can see him using Hades army power in the final phase.
His plot to overthrow Zeus was probably viable. No wonder the gods sent a lackey to do the deed. It would take Zeus to take Aries on.

No wonder men are driven by Kratos when they fight against evil , cuz all the other Gods are fricking dead .
