well trained offshore support? hardly. there was a time when DK was the dominant player in the market. those days are long gone. the layoffs are nothing more than a way to shore up the balance sheet given revenue has dropped due to competition. DK has shown us time and time again that they do not care about their customers.

Used Distrokid for over a year. I released an EP and all was fine. But when it came time to release a few projects that included some covers it was a NIGHTMARE with customer support. I was bounced between multiple people over the course of two weeks. Sometimes having to rewrite the original email. It was a joke. Nearly every response, was a copy and paste job from their own website. I pulled my EP and upcoming releases. Done. Never again. I'm still looking for a new distributor. Frankly, I'm not impressed with any of them.

Trash company for sure. I closed my account years ago.

Their support is quite responsive (1-2 days) and helpful. :)

i'm so fed up with distrokid and spotify fuckery. Pays shit, scams, removes music without warning. Make music for yourself and friends, and tour and do live gigs to earn some money. Don't feed this soulless machine.

I've had no problem with Distrokid. Never needed customer support so can't comment on that. But for $20 yearly, they do a good job.

Personally, I have yet to run into any issues with Distrokid. I'm not pretending that other people aren't having problems with the platform. It simply hasn't been my experience. - Tried going with Priam Digital at first, but ran out of patience waiting for them to figure out the issue with their billing department. 😮‍💨 It's always a lose-lose situation for the artist and I don't know what the solution is. 😮‍💨

I removed my card on Distrokid 7 YEARS AGO and they still send me emails that they are trying to charge my card.

I use ditto and it works pretty good. Never heard any bad things about it.

does weaver have any recommended black friday deals? i'm getting minimal audio hybrid filter on Audioplugindeals in a few min , it's 10 bux. and then Waves Enigma it's really old but it's the goat for sound design, didn't know about it until recently. I saw some Baby Audio stuff on plugin boutique was good deals too. Super VHS like 9 bux..

I haven’t had any problems with Distro and I’ve been with them for about 3-4 years now. But I’ve been seeing more and more videos of how badly they’ve been lately. Makes me kinda paranoid and think about going with another distributor tbh.

Distrokid ruined my income. I got editorial discretion despite all my covers being licensed. My stuff was considered "botted". Over 300 + songs gone, without an answer or a real human. I was told they just couldn't help further. I've made over 70,000 dollars for them. I hope they rot.

I was using distrokid for 5 years after they took 2 of my releases down. i switched to symphonic and I've had no problems plus I get paid every month
