I think she means she’s a very skinny girl, if you look at the back the fabric is snagged a lot to fit her figure- I see some of y’all insulting her in the replies and even out in the open because y’all think she’s “acting insecure” or doing it for a price reduction or something and honestly? Not cool.

They always drape their long hair all over the front of the dress so we can't see what the neckline looks like. I've never understood this.

Why don't some of these brides pull their hair up a bit when they're shopping? I couldn't see half of the tops of her dress because of the hair...small detail I know. But I see this in a few streams, not as much on SYTTD, but it comes up at times...

How can you tell what the dress looks like with all that hair covering it up?

Why do brides insist on putting their hair over the front neckline of the dress so you can't see what it looks like in its entirety?

Her "WORST NIGHTMARE" bc everything she buys has to be altered? In her situation this should be the perfect time for dress shopping since all of these dresses are ALWAYS made to order explicitly for the bride's body!

She's tried on such different styles no wonder she's a bit confused.

I love how they always have family members with them, instead of the usual friends upon friends.

They didn't really hone in on it here in this clip -- I was really curious about her hating dress shopping because she's small. I went through that same problem -- I'm hoping now that I'm older wedding dress shopping will be better, but shopping for prom was exhausting and only wrecked my limited self confidence. Yes alterations are a thing, but when I was trying on dresses no one was holding and pinching it in place, there was nothing to even keep the dresses in the store ON me let alone let me actually see myself in them, and the sizes they had were the only options, no ordering any other.

My mom did her best and worked really hard with me to find something before I got overwhelmed, because I was in tears. Dresses I wanted to try I was told I couldn't, dresses I did try couldn't stay on, and in the end we got a dress that I didn't like as much and we had to add straps to so it wouldn't fall off.

So I completely understand this, and am hoping with wedding dresses it'll go easier.

(Also obviously this is just one side of a problem, the other side of being too big to fit into anything is just as upsetting. Having so few options with something that can affect self-confidence so much like clothes is hard).
