So cops just don't exist in this universe? It would have taken longer to get a search warrant and a legal phone trace than it would have to find the murderer. Even four days after the murder, when they upload his memories into a new body the cops aren't there to ask questions? Possible enemies and grievances, etc. Though, they likely would have already made at least two arrests already. One for murder, and one for pseudo murder by replacing someones consciousness.

This makes no sense as to why the company is injecting back up people into replacement bodies and setting them free or making multiple recreated people when the original is still alive with their family and life. Not making sense to get worried or stressed.

I’m finding this out too. DUST is Killing it.

I love science fiction, especially reading it.

Stephen king however is the true master of short stories.. The challenge being that every word must count, you can't afford any waste whatsoever. Stephen has wrote many long books, but when push comes to shove its the invariably constraints that a short story provides he truly loves.

I imagine it's the same in movies , most being 90-120 minutes long. But something like the twilight zone, you had 30 ish minutes to condense a movie or story to its bare bones.

I've read many trilogy's and more and love them all but the true art is in creating more in less words.

The right title for this should have been "muscle memory".

An excellent production. The twist only got to me in the last scene. Then I thought back to rescuing the girl, and what her mother said. Great storyline, cinematography and acting by the cast.

From my experience the more praise the sci-fi short gets, the poorer the quality and wasted time I’ve spent watching ! This is an example of my theory.

Nice premise, and I enjoyed it, though I do think they could have had an orientation for the wife and the clone, but then we wouldn't have the "you don't smell right" drama moment. All in all, a different type of story for sure.

I’m convinced a woman wrote this. I can’t imagine a man acting so irrationally. You realize that you’re not yourself. See yourself living life normally, but choose not to get your real memories back. Then you off your other self and think life will somehow be normal
