hello :) very nice. I did the upgrade for my beetle too.. the only issue I have is with the microphone. it doesn't work. I had before the BT module under the passenger seat. so now, that the microphone cable is still there somehow, I will need to rewire it I think. may I ask you, if you know how to solve this quickly? thanks a lot in advance

DAMN...$1500 (base price)...plus the sat/nav antenna, RVC, converters...roughly $2K. I love my MK6 and will hold onto it till its last breath but wow, all that for a nice OEM head unit. Using the RCD330 (OEM in Asia only) right now cost me under $200, has CarPlay...really all I was looking for too

I got a 2015 Scirocco with the RNS 510 unit. I found a MIB2 unit from a 2016 Scirocco. Would that be a straight fit given that its the same car with same steering wheel etc. ?

Isn't the RCD 330 Plus basically the same just without the inbuilt navigation?

or if you dont care about build in DAB and NAV buy the RCD330 radio..... if you only use carplay there is no need for the rest... internet radio is available in carplay with services like tune in radio.... okay only thing is no cd player but again spotify and other multiple services are on here to.... no need to spend 1700 pounds if the rcd330 can do mostly the same thing costing 250 pund.... does not make sense cuz the ui is the same, screen is the same , installation is even easyer because the usb port is front mounted...

how did you solve the connection with the OE reverse camera? if the car had one and especially if there is one highline with guidance lines. I have the case on a passat b7.
