I love old cemeteries! I always get a laugh . U wont believe what are on some head stones. In the keys is a womans stone that says Told u I was sick. Lol I love walking around them
ОтветитьThere are civil war soldiers buried in wa state. Small cemeteries grown over with houses closely surrounding them
ОтветитьI believe he was a Lt. Col. at the time as from my research for my essay when i was at College ( 17-18 Years old not the same as college in US) here in uk and this was when his soldiers were in camp of instruction (training) before the first Bull Run/Mananas campaign.
ОтветитьI went to Stonewall Jackson high school in Manassas VA.. learn something everyday..
ОтветитьSounds interesting I like to see what your pull out of there as well probably going to be a lot of railroad spikes I don't think you'll find much more than that maybe some of the remnants of the boxcars that got burned and responsibilities Finance some Civil War memorabilia keep up the work I enjoy your videos even when you go into the spooky houses and get chased by a vulture I enjoy everything you record your metal detecting magnet fishing even when you was panning for gold I sent you a message on Instagram your wall back
ОтветитьI think going back to look for relics magnate fishing/metal detecting near the bridge crossing is a great idea for a future video! Please do.
ОтветитьInteresting story about Stonewall Jackson...he's one of my Confederate heroes! You may be interested to know that the process of "embalming" dead bodies(which I find creepy)...started up North...around the time of Lincoln. It was mostly the Union soldiers who were embalmed and shipped home during the war. Lincoln's body was embalmed so that it could "tour" the country on his death train. They say it was getting pretty "stinky" by the time he was buried!
ОтветитьDo you know what the American Indian called a groundhog ? LUNCH !
ОтветитьI love the word Hobbo.
ОтветитьFunny personality. You make me laugh. Sort of funny. I shouldn't laugh. I was taught to respect the dead.
ОтветитьAmazing how much development (?) occurred in such a relatively short period of time.
ОтветитьI'm a newbie to your channel. Discovered quite by chance. I hale from the North but spent many summers in Tennessee at the Grandparents farm. While traveling there we stopped at many Civil War Battlefields. I have a deep respect for those who endeavored from both sides. My Grand Mother told me of a Great GrandFather taken by the Night Riders and never heard from again. I don't share your passion for metal detecting but I do love exploring out of the way places and your appreciation for History. Great stuff!
ОтветитьIn the 80’s almost all animal shelters were on treatment plant property.
ОтветитьI love going in old Graveyard,
ОтветитьFans from Baltimore
ОтветитьOur sewer plant during storms gets overwhelmed and overflows untreated sewage straight into the river. This happens a couple times a year. We never mess around in the water below the treatment plant.
ОтветитьI love trains I love watching Them keep cranking those videos out video man out
ОтветитьHi I don’t know if you know or not but the Chinese or Japanese people where slaves during ww2 Pearl harbor Vietnam the Cold War and probably Not world war 1. I’m sure the Nazis were prisoners have to check up on my research when I get the time... Beale Air Force Base in California housed German Nazis during World War II. The Sutter Buttes is an old missile silo where I believe the Japanese were slaves they have rocks lined up all along the side of the Sutter buttes The smallest mountain range I believe in the world . And what I was told the Japanese or Chinese I need to do more research. They had to line up a bunch of big stones all around the Sutter Buttes the Sutter Buttes is in Yuba city . Marysville is YUBA County and Yuba city is Sutter county...It’s kind of confusing look it up if you have the time that’s all for now keep cranking those videos out great history about the Civil War I never knew they burnt rail cars with horses in them who knows what else was in those box cars war is hell !! From the video man have a nice day. P.S hope my spelling is ok 👍
ОтветитьI was home on leave from Iraq one of my deployments, and me and a buddy went fishing, we had to walk the tracks to get to our spot we fish, DNR seen us walking the tracks and called the Shelby county RR commission... we found out that day it’s a federal jurisdiction per county, to be on the tracks, no tickets but we got scolded heavily. Lol!! Sad part is we grew up rabbit hunting and just walking the tracks being kids and never got caught or in trouble for it, live and learn lol
ОтветитьIs it legal to metal detect in cemeteries?
Of course local laws apply but is it legal in some places?
Ohhhh between you and Todd... who taught who about history presentation? Facinating story about Stonewall Jackson and the B&O railroad. Especially for me, since I was an engineer for many years.
ОтветитьThank You Chigger ! Loved it . Ohio native here .I always felt bad for the people of the South , not just the battle death , but the
way the land was
destroyed & burned .
Yet I never heard that
Nasty Deed by Jackson ! You know your history !
I love to take Amtrak from Pittsburgh to Quainco go's right Chig is at

ОтветитьI am 9 miles shy of WV. Hello from East Central Ohio. Magnet fishing would be interesting.
ОтветитьLoved the history lesson. Learned something I didn't know about good ol Stonewall. He did do alot of things very differently for that time in the civil war. Some good an alot bad but like you said that's history. Great video chigg. Thanks for the civil war history lesson. As always safe an happy hunting.😁👍👍

ОтветитьWe have tons of those cold storage hills up here in Mass. The civil war era is my favorite part of history. Love every thing about the 1800s. History is a great thing. Something that should be relish to the max!

ОтветитьI never realized West Virginia was so far east.
ОтветитьWas that Greenhill cemetery?
ОтветитьCouple things... A groundhog exposed my mother's casket a few months after she was buried, and it was REALLY freaky to see! And while visiting a very old cemetery down South I was filming similar Butts graves and cracked a joke, but my phone suddenly got so hot that I couldn't hold it! It left burns! And it wasn't even a Samsung! Only time it happened.
ОтветитьTrick gift : Every access road along tracks, locals would get mad because RR would cable off or gate.
Even from pre-automobiles those access roads where there for horse\wagon..
Locals would cut, break, pry, toss and RR Would replace.
I find multiple heart locks at any access in my region, consistently..Ours say DL-W and even ones with arm broke sell at Collectable shop for paperweights, good intact ones with RR LOGO ,bank...All the keys I found,I listed in huge lot on ebay and after it sold ebay sent me notice was removing from completed listings because RR complained was national security risk because some locks, track switches etc had many sets of keys for all employees, etc so some may still be in use..
I had from all era's,but mostly heart lock oldies..Even in steep side bank where can barely stand, they are there to..Guaranteed!!!!! multiples...Locals cut,RR REPLACED.
Great video. 👍
ОтветитьI think it would have been funny if a skeleton hand grabbed you out of the groundhog hole.
ОтветитьWould not want to be buried under the Out House!
Ответитьcould old horse and buggy road or rail bed
ОтветитьBased on what I saw on Find a Grave, the soldier you saw that died in 1946 died in a plane crash in Albuquerque.
ОтветитьGreat video love you man. I'm trying to catch up.
ОтветитьMaryland did not switch sides during the Civil War. They were always loyal to the confederacy. Lincoln sent the Union army to the Maryland Capitol and prevented the Maryland legislators from meeting so they could not vote to secede from the union.
ОтветитьCool as..
ОтветитьI absolutely love every video you put out! So informative! Thank you!
Ответитьgreat video
