If one has edema, both ankles, but that's the only symptom, could that still be heart failure? Everything else is perfect: Blood pressure excellent, beats per minute nearly that of an athlete, no shortness of breath, no trouble during sleep and can exercise for 3 to 4 hours no problem. Never tired either.

i've been told by 2 doctors that I have heart failure, first was 10 years ago and i had no idea i had this. I move quick for my age and more than the averager person, meaning I am very active. I just turned 60 2 months ago and still untreated, never been treated. I feel i have to now. Will go in Dec for treatment. I may be having an untreated heart failure for the past 25 years now.
