I don’t eat steak or meat but I went to this place one when I did. It looks way better than Salt Bae’s junkyard.
ОтветитьBidenflation.
ОтветитьTo be fair with the seating when you go to Paris all the restaurants including this one is like this so I guess they brought the Paris seating to nyc too 😂
ОтветитьI've met a lot of friends by sitting close to them in restaurants.
ОтветитьI get that it’s a grand opening, but 20% was generous for the service you received. Such a nice guy.
ОтветитьI'd never eat in that restaurant with the tables so close.
Clearly they are putting profit before any sort of dinner experience.
Hey! I was there that day!
ОтветитьPoor service
ОтветитьWe have butter. I usually spread salt on the bread & butter. It's a great restaurant, once every 2 months or so
ОтветитьJames, thanks for your terrific review of L'Entrecote NYC. Keep up the good work! I love dining at the Paris locations, but I am glad to know there is one nearby. That green sauce is so delicious. The Paris L'Entrecotes have perfected a style of service where highly professional female servers get diners in and out while being friendly and efficient. They're not perfect, but I think they deliver terrific value and a unique experience.
ОтветитьGreat video man
ОтветитьLe Relais may mean 'the inn'.
Dumping more meat on one's plate in that way appears to be disagreeable. Also, serving the original order before the salad is eaten results in cold french fries and tepid meat and sauce.
We'll pass.
this one seems up my alley
Ответитьdamn UA beat you to 50k subs im bummed
ОтветитьI can’t wait to visit New York and try this restaurant. Food looks amazing.
ОтветитьTried it years ago. It was ok.
ОтветитьThe old location was OK. The new location is OK. It’s a good lunch place if you work in the area. But they don’t have any ketchup in this place. And I’m not eating a mustard sauce with my fries. I passed on dessert. I thought the service was fine.
ОтветитьNot the same as it was before they moved. I think i saw only one of the original waitresses when i went in. The space is horrid. They keep their salads under hot lights and the service is incredibly bad. They act like they are serving trays behind a line at a school cafeteria. They need to clean house and start over again.
ОтветитьHate that seating arrangement. Why I wouldn’t go there. That’s really tight! What about the person that sits in the middle of the bench?! It better be a man and not a woman. She would have to sit on the open side.
ОтветитьNo butter with the bread at a French restaurant?!! The main ingredient with French cooking IS butter! Odd. I think with most things in life “you get what you pay for”.
ОтветитьThis american perspective on a classic french/european bistro and its quirks (like seating, menu, server behavior) is hilarious. cool review
ОтветитьPlease don’t wear sunglasses
ОтветитьI think that sauce also has anchovies in it.
ОтветитьIn the People's Republik Of New York!
ОтветитьThat seating arrangement is very strange, do you have to ask everyone next you to move out when you leave?
ОтветитьGoing tomorrow! Thanks for the vid!
ОтветитьWhat is with the AIDS patient outfit to start the video?
Straight off the streets of Philadelphia.
There is nothing wrong with MSG. it just makes food taste better.
Ответитьyou suffer greatly from the northern vowel shift
ОтветитьDON'T tip for bad service! I hate how tipping has become something completely different and ridiculous than it was intended.
ОтветитьCheese cake, the only desert on the menue not related to french cuisine.... I'll say no more. Two more things though: wines with low alcohol and tannin content may be (and are best) served at a cooler temperature and... I would rather not be eating my fries by hand at a restaurant. But I'm probably a little too "vieux jeu"...
ОтветитьClosed for absolutely nothing. Fauci is a criminal. The price rise --- THANK YOU bidenomics. Oatmeal for brains president.
ОтветитьThat's a lot of nuts! But hey, how can you serve top sirloin in a restaurant called entrecote? (rib steak)
Ответитьtipping bad service lmao
Ответить20%? 😮
Ответитьshe was probably an actress
Ответитьparfait pour chier en spray
ОтветитьI've been to the UK restaurant. It was amazing! The service I got was impeccable and you're right about that sauce. Such a basic meal, but done so well.
ОтветитьYou know you're doing something right when a viewer subs after just one video.
ОтветитьJe n'irai jamais là! Me faire bousculer au restaurant ? Jamais... vive mon bon goûter à la maison...
ОтветитьI'm French and I can say the service is also a small issue in France, due to the fact that the restaurant is always crowded to full, and I guess not enough waitresses to keep up. But I always nearly lick my plate because of the sauce and the steak (^w^)
Ответить60 for all those hm alot more reasonable
ОтветитьReally awesome review, James!
I feel I don't see reviews that offer good criticism but give praise where it is deserved.
It is actually a Ribeye.
ОтветитьService is not made by french crew ... So !
ОтветитьIf you haven't been served by a slow waitress with an attitude, you've clearly never been to a bistro in France....that's the authentic experience. It's all about the food, not the service. Not that its 'right' of course, but hey, it is what it is!
ОтветитьI can’t imagine to have steak frites without a good glass of red wine. Such is heaven made of…
Shit - I would bring a couple of pats if I knew, though!
Had one of these across the street from me in Paris. Ate there several times and really enjoyed it
Ответитьnyc in the summer is the last fucking place i would want to be. enjoy those ILLEGAL INVADERS TAKING OVER AND THE CRIMINALS RUNNING THE STREETS....soon you will be like san fran baby!!!
Ответить
