Hi, the golden hour sunset is very duffucult to see to paint. I did it quute awhile ago and wanted to fo it again but its too hard to view in many places. I was disappointed in this as well as some hard to view autumn tutorialsxwith this problem. Ive made lots of your paintings. Yiur techniques are good but chiice if colors is too dark to view in several paintings.
Also if doing scrylucs and changing to oil techniques its best to dtick to just one not change when youre mastering acrylics, its confusing. Much thanks, god bless you jane

Hi Clive. Love your work and the way you teach. I've been painting with acrylicsmfor a couple of weeks. I'm using a student quality acrylics (Daler Rowney Graduate) and followingthe advice of several you tube artists, I'm painting small on 5 x 7 Arteza canvas panels. I followed your prep but I'm struggling with the application of the paint on the canvases. It lifts quite a lot, which is disheartening and frustrating. I'm using nylon brushes as well. Could you do a lesson on how much paint you need to apply, please? I tend to end up with too much paint and not enough water on my brushes. I've even tried using a medium to help but nothing seems to work for me. Perhaps I'm too heavy handed? If you could help, I'd appreciate it. Stay safe!
