Anyone know the song?.
ОтветитьWe deceive ourselves into believing our chain of causality can include the highs without including the lows. Both are necessary in life. Amor fati.
ОтветитьBoth my parents passed away this year. This Thanksgiving would have been there 67th wedding anniversary. I am so sad but also grateful to have been blessed with my lovely parents. When I read the first page of Mediations, I felt Marcus Aurelius was writing about my father and mother. I am also grateful to recognise the beach you are walking on in the last shot. Not far from my home.
ОтветитьThe example of college hit really close to home for me. Thank you for reminding me that even all the 'bad' things that have happened in my life have contributed to me being where I am today. Now I'm in a position where I can take the advantages in my life and pay them forward, donate more to charity, truly empathise with people who are going through challenging times and even point them in the direction of stoicism, just as a friend did for me when I hit my lowest point earlier this year.
ОтветитьAwesome Ryan … truly words & food for tho’t ! Always Enjoy your channel 🙏🥂
ОтветитьI have been in an overwhelming sense of my own yin lately. Thank you for reawakening my yang with your videos my friend.
ОтветитьThis is very reminiscent of the understanding I had as a young person of Christianity. Our best teachers, we were told, are the people who try our patience because through practice, we become more patient .
ОтветитьHow can you when your only child is a drug addict?
ОтветитьI've been recording gratitudes since May 2013 and I often feel like I record the same things. This is a good reminder. TFS
ОтветитьThis guy pushed the Pharma poison and the Woke agenda. If you’re still supporting him then you haven’t a clue.
ОтветитьDonald Trump is the first thing I think of when I'm contemplating gratitude. The next 4 years are going to shine!
ОтветитьBeing grateful for the moment of Joy and all the rest with the people and pets, because we don't know how long we have with them...
ОтветитьIts fascinating that hardly anyone has heard of the book Unveiling Your Hidden Potential. I believe it was banned but I recently saw that it has been returned
ОтветитьAt what point does it become delusional though?
ОтветитьI have found that gratitude for what I have and the world around me is the best way to be and remain happy with my life. It's a lesson I'm trying to pass on to my kids.
ОтветитьHunger is the best seasoning
Ответитьwhats that library, its beautiful
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the background song?
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьI enjoy the Quietness of Today. Just me and Me Alone.
ОтветитьI appreciate this video because I want to increase my satisfaction in my life. I've had struggles and difficulties that caused upset and grief but I believe that suffering is not a necessary part of my experience.
"Gratitude" and "Appreciation" are both peppered throughout pop psychology in a disingenuous, pandering manner that oversimplifies their role and place in my understanding; this video is a welcome exception. As an atheist, I also look for rational ways to be grateful and hold appreciation in my consciousness without falling back on sky fairies.
If there is someone out there who can find happiness in spite of dire circumstances and profound loss, then so can I. And, if you are reading this, so can you.
That was awesome! ❤
ОтветитьHappy thanksgiving for my american folks
ОтветитьI am grateful to music💔for strings, for song✌️💚🖖
ОтветитьIs becoming a homeless (sober) female for the first time at 50 a "bad" thing?
As soon as it happened, on December 24, I looked up and thought, "Okay, God. I don't know why you put me here, but show me what you want to learn."
Now ten years later I've learned so much about myself and society's ignorance of the true reason why people are there. 30-40% are NOT addicts or criminals. Life just went sideways, a lot, and they are overwhelmed and traumatized. They suffer with depression and desperation with NO mental health supports in the system. I get to share Marcus's take on life's problems via Ryan's videos to help them. A lot of them are starting to look up instead of down. How is that a "bad thing"?
Thanks Ryan. 👏👍
Gratefulness is key. Great meditation to start the day=]
ОтветитьMy past has made me who I am today, but...I don't LIKE who I am today. :c I have PTSD and can barely feel anything anymore. I feel so unmotivated and empty.
ОтветитьThank u Ryan.
ОтветитьI'm a grateful Ryan. I hope with the politics today will give us all more understanding and patience with each other.
ОтветитьI have only celebrated one Thanksgiving in the USA - when I was six months old. I was abducted by a parent of the country and hope to return some day. My life so far has been facing a lot of abuse in a place where there is no rule of law - but I'm grateful for it taught me resilience and showed me who the people are who really love me and to treasure every moment with them. I am also thankful to you and my Dad for introducing me to Stoicism. :)
ОтветитьWanna see a good example of changeg in the framing toward gratitude?
I used to pray asking God to give me strength to overcome the challenges ahead in my day, especially regarding work.
Now I pray "Thank you, Lord, for another day of work. For another opportunity to thrive and learn. Thank you for the teachings I'm about to have today"
Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans! Cheers from the island of Madeira, Shellie 🩷🩵💜🧡💙💛💚❤️
ОтветитьThis is really deep. Be grateful for the struggles along with the joys
ОтветитьLive well my brothers and sisters
ОтветитьHow do you feel gratitude for losing a loved one? What was Marcus Aurelius grateful for after burying half of his children?
ОтветитьLooking for the positive even when nothing seems positive. Sometimes we need to focus on miniscule objects or events, but those are the things that will give us peace at the end of the day.
ОтветитьAmor fati 🔥
ОтветитьYou do not know how great food tastes till you have been truly hungry . Water will never be so wonderful till you have been truly thirsty . It takes some deprivation to know how wonderful an everyday sensation truly is .
ОтветитьRyan, i love you. Thank you for not selling your soul for money like other creators did by supporting trump
ОтветитьI don't celebrate the holidays but I'm am very thankful- especially for Ryan! ❤
ОтветитьOh my how perfect
ОтветитьHappy Thanksgiving
ОтветитьThat's Beautiful. Thank you, Ryan. Happy Thanksgiving. From a Canadian.♥♥♥♥
ОтветитьI'm British and live in America. Thanksgiving is one of the great things of living in this country. I love the day off to spend with friends and family and eat pumpkin pie, drink coffee and watch the parade. Christmas is around the corner. It's just great vibes.
