This had been popping up on my feed all the time and I was just resisting constantly, saying it's probably a weird ugly video.
But now that I finally watched it, I think it's a weird ugly video.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. Great video. Funny, beautiful in parts, sad in others but on the it’s fabulous.

Utterly brilliant and I think a wee bit of a tribute to the great Raymond Briggs.

As A Canadian, I'm deeply disappointed that this received National Film Board funding. The animation style is beautiful, but the story is garbage. And neither artist is Canadian.

I'm disappointed that a major periodical like The New Yorker seemingly can't afford to put some actual effort into their captioning. In its current form, this was insufficient for my deaf students to follow along
