WALKING DOWN THE OLD BIRTLEY RAILWAY video Colin C

Hi back again I am starting where I left off on the last Video. Coming away from Portmeades. Walking down the old Railway Line. Long gone like many things. I can remember some of it growing up but sadly nothing remaining. I have said many times how I wish I had been interested in Photography from a young age. So I could have captured on photograph the past in Birtley and surrounding areas. I am glad there was people who went out and photographed things before we lost them. I wont get bogged down when there is no photographic evidence because over the years photos have shown up that have got me exited. Even last week I managed to get a hold of a photo of an old building in Birtley I had been looking for, For a long time so I was on cloud nine. So maybe in years to come I may discover some more. I am mad on local History so I get carried away from time to time. Anyway that will do fo now take care everyone and will catch you next time.
