There is no one on the lifts .
ОтветитьDude, these are some of the best tutorial videos I've seen for anything, period. I'm ready to start practicing come first snow. Thank you for taking the time to spread your knowledge. Burton would be proud.
Ответитьbeing right foot forward, this messed with my head!😂
ОтветитьI learned how to ski down black slopes in a week with the help of some friends who have been skiing for 9 years so hopefully with your help and some pro friends I’ll be able to learn pretty quickly!
Ответитьim gonna start this season in keystone Co , gonna download your videos just in case i dont have signal jejejeje. i dont need to pay for lesson having this videos that are pure gold. thank you
ОтветитьThank you! My snowboarding lessons were shit. No fault of the instructor. Just no bunny hill and no place to practice. We had 5 seconds on the board. And then walk back up. No time to figure out what the board was doing. But it wasn't turning like I wanted. Today I went my own way up this other longer hill and watched your video first. The tilting the foot to put twist in the board helped so much. I had room to board for 40 seconds a shot. Which gave me time to see how the board would react. They did open a bunny hill today with magic carpet . I got up to the top and saw it was just ice. I'm like this is a bad idea. 1 run down and I broke my ass. Even wearing ass armor. But I felt confident with your video to ride the baby lift up the mountain where there was actually snow. I basically side slipped all the way down but was having a blast. Sadly I live in FL. So I need to figure out how to snowboard cheap. I can't spend 3k+ a year every year. We are in CO right now. So maybe another state with cheaper accommodations.
ОтветитьThe first time snowboarding didn't go so well but the second time i found your video's and i killed it on the snowboard (i am a skateboarder so i knew the basics) but this shit was so fun today. Keep up these great video's
ОтветитьToday was my 3rd time on the bunny slope and I didn't have a instructor. I practiced all the skills covered in vids 1-3 all morning until I got 'em down. I was confident for the lift by the end of the day.
ОтветитьI gotta say, I just started snowboarding this season and now I'm already able to ride blues because of you not even a week in. Thank you so much! Please keep making these absolutely fire tutorials!
Ответить👍🏻 On chill. Nice lessons, dude! Thank a lot :)
ОтветитьAwesome awesome videos! Once I figured out the difference in turning between this and wakeboarding was the twisting the board it was over. I’m Having a blast best videos I found when I got up here.thanks you sir!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial but i dont have a snowboard :D
ОтветитьMy Man it's My first season I'm in breck and your tutorials are so helpfull. You are great
ОтветитьThanks so much for these crystal clear lessons. I’m just now realizing what I’ve been doing wrong. This makes so much sense to me now. I can’t wait to try again.
ОтветитьPrivate lesson: nothing on twisting the board. After your videos: OMG, I can actually ride! Really appreciate the tips and tricks.. I'm hooked!!!
ОтветитьI dont go often to snowboard but your videos are realy great 👍
ОтветитьI learned to ride snowboard 15years ago but now I am 46 years old and want to go to ride with my kids. Thank you for your teaching. You made it really easy to understand.
ОтветитьAmazing ! Thanks you sir 🙏🏽❤️
ОтветитьYou have the clearist easy to understand tutorial
ОтветитьAlthough I'm an intermediate boarder by now, I still picked up a few helpful tips from this video series, so thank you! There is always something new to learn. The only thing I would add, for beginners, is don't be afraid to go down the mountain and gain a little speed. I see beginners all the time trying to carve, turn and stop but with little or no momentum and it leads to catching an edge or simply falling backwards or forward. I still do this from time to time when I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing LOL. It's like trying to turn on a skateboard but without actually moving, it doesn't work. You don't need to go fast, you just need a little momentum to perform the simple moves illustrated here.
ОтветитьWhen you said you'd be our buddy for now, you became Boarder Bob Ross.
Ответитьyour video editing skills, angles, transitions...all of it....the videos are funny, exciting, and informative. thank you good sir 👍
ОтветитьAre you at Vail
ОтветитьTried out some of these tips and they helped a lot. Definitely putting some more weight on the front foot and twisting the board were very helpful. This day was amazing and so much fun, thank you so much!
ОтветитьI mastered snow boarding in 3 days because of you thank you so much
ОтветитьYour series were really helpful. Thank you!!!!
ОтветитьTrying to learn to snowboard after years of skiing, these videos have helped so much! With them I feel I can actually get the hang of this someday :)
ОтветитьThe editing reminds me of bill nye haha
ОтветитьHey mate, thank you very much for those awesome videos. Until few days ago I was only skiing. Now after full 3 days practicing on snowboard I'm able to snowboard blue slopes with linked turns ... it's fun to enjoy both styles on slopes🙂
ОтветитьNot panicking is the most important thing. I've seen many people wipe out because they get scared, lock their legs up, and catch an edge before they even get to the part they were scared of. Often just carefully slowing down to a more comfortable speed is all you need, but as you progress you'll start to feel more comfortable and confident with more speed. Practicing those J and S turns a lot will make it easy to control your speed as much as you need.
ОтветитьYou guys ever just watch a video and think "I could do that" knowing very well the result of trying it
ОтветитьThese videos of yours is exactly what I need <3
ОтветитьBest beginner videos I've seen, really helpful, thank you. I went a couple of times last season and got a lesson, but going into my first real season and wanted a refresher on how to do all of these basics. Excited to get out there and learn.
ОтветитьHitting Keystone in the morning. It's been 15 years since I got on a board. Your tutorials were a refreshing refresher . Thanks. I'm happy to follow
ОтветитьDude binged all your videos multiple times. Most of it stuck in my head. First time on the mountain ever was yesterday. I fell a lot. How ever after 2 hours of following your instructions I was cruising down the mtn with a couple falls here and there
ОтветитьThese are the best beginner snowboard videos out there.
ОтветитьI watch the 3 parts even if my level is medium. Dude you are amazing, thank you, keep going 💪🏻. You are pedagogic, you have a great mentality
ОтветитьWhere do you teach?
ОтветитьI'm from Texas and planning a trip for 2023 and i cant wait to put on in practice this tutorial and see if i can hit a green without falling.
ОтветитьThank you very much Steve for these three videos on snowboarding basics. My son and I are planning to snowboard for the first time. We have been skiing all these years. Your videos give us tremendous knowledge & basic skills, and confidence. Thank you very much.
Awesome videos.
Update:
Third day in, and I can do the linked turns now, slowly but surely! Thank you for your videos!
Didn’t have any instructors or friends to help me other thank you !
I just found these videos and it helps tremendously. One huge problem I’m having is leg fatigue. On a half mile green run I have to stop like 4 times because my legs are burning. And by time I get to the bottom I’m completely exhausted from the leg burn combined with having to get up and down 4 times. I only get like 2 runs in max before I’m toast for the day
ОтветитьThank you Steve! After watching your tutorials, we learned how to snowboard, knowing absolutely nothing! We walked through every step, from skating with one foot strapped in, through falling leaf and finally S turn in 4 days! Great tutorials! Nice job! Amazing views! Thanks again! Regards!
ОтветитьHello from Germany, tomorrow will BE my First time snowboarding, Hope i can remember what i learn from U vids ;)
ОтветитьThank you. It's definitely the best introduction series I've seen - that tip with twisting the board made turns soo much easier, which helped me ride down the slope doing nice S turns all the time. Thanks again!
ОтветитьDude make more content - you helped me soooooo much. Clear simple confidence inspiring instruction. 👏🏽✊🏽🫡
