I'm someone that enjoys kpop (not as much nowadays tbh) as well as many other music industries/genres, I'm really enjoying ROSE's switch up from kpop to western pop girl! (Also massive respect to Bruno too, he sounded amazing as always!) 💖💖💖

Blackpink doesn’t really need anyone to save their popularity because even in a few years they will still be the biggest girlgroup ever known but by songs? Maybe 🤭 im a huge blink, I loved new woman, rockstar, mantra and moonlit floor but APT? The best 👑 I gotta say, Rosé is the most artistic member in blackpink 🩷 I loved all the songs the Bp members released, especially rockstar (it’s catchy okay?) mantra (don’t gotta explain) and 100% APT. Y’all, please stream APT. It’s giving 2000’s vibe and I’m living for it.

For Itzy’s gold, I agree. It sounds like a Nmixx song and it just goes crazy, the scenes are random but as long as it’s catchy lol

ive always loved rose and i think its more than ok to say so that she is the only member putting in the effort in her solo projects. i like that she took a different style altogether and didnt resort to just twerking and lipsynching.

I think all of them did really great! But this is my favorite because it’s so much fun. Shows two people hanging out and having fun. Love it

APT is seriously by far the best release of this year to me and the fact that it was only announced one day prior to its release and then it turned out to be such an absolute smash-hit! It was such a great surprise and such a great contrast to what blackpink as a group and the others members as soloists have been releasing

Tbh mantra and rockstar were basic ahh songs,mantra could not be trending more then 1 day and lisa too repetitive and both sounds like every song.Rosé had the best one

I'm going to give my opinion as someone who is not interested in blackpink or any of the members.
I think Rosé's case is a perfect example of quality over quantity/speed of release. Lisa was the first one to make music after leaving YG, and surprise, it was dogshit. A 2 minute song, nonsense and very repetitive lyrics, annoying music... It felt like she was rushing to deliver ANYTHING. But Rosé has spent idk how much time preparing a full album, taking her time, and consequence? a SONG with all the letters, simple yet with actual lyrics, actual music, and a music video according to the sound. Basically what mvs and music used to be not that much ago (before tiktok essentially ruined everything), and I think that's why APT is so good and has been so well received, because it feels like a song made with the heart and not with money in mind and because it's not just another sample of an old song or another nursery rhyme with sassy lyrics.

Rose's APT. and Lisa's New Woman have been my favorite so far. Apt aligns with my music preference, but there's just something abt New Woman that's so... sentimental??? Sad??? Idk

Honestly Rose was always really passionate about actually making music and somehow shes the most unpopular member despite her artistic creativity. Good music doesn't need a expensive mv.

I personally loved Itzy’s gold it may be confusing on the first listen, but after it all fell into place for me. I also adore the rap prechorus 💗

unpopular opinion but this is just a personal preference, none of Lisa’s solos have impacted me, Jennie’s ‘mantra’ was not bad but it definitely wasn’t show stopping, and this new Rosé collab was just…. yeah….

3. Vcha would have been great for tweens in the early to mid 2010s. They remind me of the dance moms girls music, like Jojo siwa boomerang. But I think they don’t realize that themselves and are trying to cater to the wrong demographic. I hope they’re on a hiatus to replan and comeback with something that either works in the western media or is fully catered to tweens. They need to pick who they wanna cater to and go all out on that.
