ОтветитьOf all the years I've been watching this particular video for this song, and I SELFISHLY forgot to LIKE it. 😭
ОтветитьThis song brings tears to my eyes every time. But I keep listening because it's so beautiful
ОтветитьCheck out Denez Prigent - Gwerz Kiev (feat. Karen Matheson), basically the same melodic theme, only that is much more sad, Denez is singing in Bretton, Karen Matheson in Scottish gaelic

ОтветитьThank you for the video and the story behind the song.
ОтветитьThe first time i heard these words-lyrics was at one of Tiesto music songs (A tear in the open). I am finally glad that i reached in the true source by the way i did never knew about the backatory and his tragedie. Now it makes sense why this song was so sorrowful.

ОтветитьEs triste está canción, después de conocer el porque de este poema...es triste y hermosa al mismo tiempo...triste destino es de esta mujer...pero dejo algo hermoso..un poema bellísimo
ОтветитьHave ALWAYS loved and adored this song since I first heard it in the Rob Roy movie but then later on my "Bravehearts" CD. And the meaning of the lyrics towards the end when they tell you story behind this song, the love story of Allan and Annie, OMG OMG OMG!!! 😭💔 Just so very saddening, hope they're together again... in Heaven. 💜

ОтветитьGaelic is the most beautiful language in existence and I say this as an Arab
ОтветитьGod willing I will get back there one day ❤
ОтветитьGod bless the Irish and Scots. They gave us some truly beautiful music. It is truly a shame that such a beautiful song has such a sad backstory behind it.
However, it's because of the Scots and Irish as to why we have Blugrass music here in the states, which was once known as "Mountain music.""
And, it was because of both the Scots and Irish why we have such American heroes as fronterismen David Crockett, as he was of both Scot and Irish descent.
"The solitary reaper by william wordsworth" any one?
ОтветитьTomb Raider Legend had the best idea for sampling this
ОтветитьMedieval 2 Total War brought me here.
ОтветитьCual es el primer instrumento que parece flauta 🪈🪈

Ответить"No copyright infringement intended" is a very silly thing to put on posts like this. You don't own the copyright, and you know someone else does, but are posting it anyway, ergo you are in fact clearly intending copyright infringement. (But to results apparently no one cares about; millions of videos on YT and at least 100s of millions of social-media posts on Facebook, etc., contain copyright infringement about which no one cares, including the copyright holders, since it generally acts as free advertising and no one's illicitly profiting off their copyrighted material or claiming it belongs to someone else).
