Msport is just aesthetics, you're probably thinking of sport suspension. Also, it doesn't change the steering feel. I dont see any drawbacks for an Msport and they look much better.

We tried a version in 2011 with leather sports seats. I loved it, best seats I ever sat in. This x3 is the best in my opinion, made from 2011-17. I am considering to replace my current German car with an X3, but only this version.

During the first 3 minutes of the 10 min video, you bashed on the 1st gen and chatted about many things but not the MK2 X3.

I bought 2015 x3 35i xline( step below msport ) 78k in love it’s zippy had to change the radiator under warranty. Has all seasons tires so the ride is awesome. Have to use premium gas.

I got my last week 2012 x3 2.0 diesel automatic 257000 km main services were already made, just changed the oil and filters, and it needs a new battery, it was at a discount ( hail dents) from 13000 to 11000 (my old car included) and we end up at 10500€

This guy doesn't seem to know anythin about f25 x-drive. Its brity clever system and locks slipping wheel fast. I dont think this guy know these cars.

Road tax 140 pound a year, in the Netherlands we pay for this car 182euro per month!!!! Fuel cost extreme high because most of it is tax, if you want to park that thing you must check your bank account first and when we cross the border we have to buy vignettes and sometimes pay toll as well. The government can’t miss the money they squeeze out of us but we are about to run dry….great car do

I have x3 2015 xdrive 2.0 automatic great car now 330 000km but last week I have some problem can sombody help? So he starts normal ewry day but after ,2,3 times switching of and on he want start and then after 30-50min he start normally and so is last two days

bmw lost all credibility

This car has been such a surprise and delight. It’s very spacious, comfortable and good performance

thumbs down, first sais "a little engine" at a 2liter TD and then he sais not much horsepower...190HP for a 2L td was unheard of decades ago, spoiled brat if you ask me!

Tempted to buy one. I wish I could get one with the 3.0 diesel in the states

A family member has a 2.0d F25 D20C xdrive is 10 years old and so far its never given a days problem. No oil leaks amazingly but the ride is firm. Quick enough, very fuel efficient. Change all the oils and I mean all of them (brakes, engine, differential, transmission, torque convertor at the right time) and replace parts when the kilometers are reached. Nice sized luxury family SUV and not to big. 210,000km and going almost like new. This particular one was made in Germany. It just depends what you land up with.

So just the wheels and the trim is different from the Se and the m sport

Not a fan of SUVs, I would rather have a 3 series estate which is just as practical if not more, better handling+ better economy or even an F series 5 series estate over an X3

I had a 2013 F25 and loved it, did a 100,000 miles in it, not one problem, had it maped as well so really quick, wish i never sold it

what is the easiest way to add extra navigator.
I bought one with the assumption it has navatigator. I only see NAV button no navagation it is funny

That's just exactly what I did. Bought a manual X3 2012 2D 100K miles 1 owner and I am start to love it. Although you're true the steering wheel is heavy. Well, I could build a biceps for this.

Hi Mate, Don't suppose you've ever come across the x3 35i that are being imported from Japan? I'm tempted..Has the N55 engine. Further more, any advice on Japan imports?

I don’t get it, all the problems you had with the MK1 were engine problems, they would be the same engines that went in the rest of the BMW range, why were they naïf in this body? M Sport is horrible, I want a large car to waft around not bounce from one cats eye to another, but BMW drivers aren’t well known for their thoughts and considerations.

I actually prefer the very last tweaks to the Mark 2 than the latest version. Just about to get into my third 3.0d ( yes MSport:) as I flirted with other cars for a few years then test drove a very nice low mileage late 2016 and it felt like a different world , all at once a Regal /Sports / even estate car rolled into one! But I stress with a 3.0d .. and 8 speed box… it’s a special car, every drive an occasion.
