The "intermediate pilates" title is misleading. To me, this was such a waste of time. I even checked the comments to see if it was challenging and would work up a sweat but I wasted my time. I kept thinking "this has to get more challenging" but it just stayed at that begginer level with no sweat. This is probably why I should not try a new pulated instructor when I don't have the time to see if their workouts are actually decent.
I also didn't like how there was so much talking and telling me to breathe or exhale. I kept yawning and my movements kept getting messed up because I was focusing on my movements. Maybe instead of trying to loon pretty try uploading an actual workout that will give people a sweat.
What does it mean if it hurts my lower back to bend backwards like that?

ОтветитьGiven that I have scoliosis, it is difficult for me to perform the swan dip because it hurts deep in my abdomen, so unfortunately I skip that series.

ОтветитьOk I will update everyday! I'm aiming for at least 2 weeks but we'll see 😆 I also do dance around 5 times a week, usually an 1-2 hours a day! My reason for wanting to try this is so I can feel comfortable in my body. Yes, there's physical reasons too, for slimmer legs, abs etc but mostly to feel good for myself!!!
Day 1 (2/28/25): WHAT. How does one do these exercises, I think I died like 5 times during this but it was SOOO good, I could def feel it everywhere in my body.
Day 2 (3/1/25): Ok it's already getting better I think!! The criss cross legs always get me though it hurts soooo bad but at the same time feels kinda good??? But wow I love this
Day 3 (3/2/25): I can definitely feel it getting easier!! Some exercises still kill me, I’m not sure they ever won’t but the pain feels good!!
Day 4 (3/3/25): had for dance for almost 4 hours so I skipped today 😅
Day 5 (3/4/25): I’m SO sore from yesterday so I took a rest day today but I will hopefully be back tmrw 💪
Day 6 (3/5/25): back at it!! It’s getting so much better and I feel like I’m starting to look more toned like my abs!
Day 7 (3/6/25): ONE WEEK!!!!! It's getting so much easier and I'm feeling stronger
Day 8 (3/7/25): My brother came home so I didn't do it 🥲
Day 9 (3/8/25): Ok it was SO hard today like it was insane. Especially the leg crosses and lean backs, like those killed me. But I feel like I'm seeing abs!!! Idk if I'm just imagining it but I see some lines LOL
