AlphaFold: The making of a scientific breakthrough

✨I have an idea for the AlphaFold people! Please start to map SCENTS! The world of scents and aroma and scent molecules. Surely there would be a way to both map all the scents, and then synthetically manufacture the scents. This would be useful for example for virtual reality experiences. E.g. a device near the nose creates the scents of the landscape seen inside the VR! It's like a haptic suit but for the olfactory system. Also we could then mimic the dog's ability to smell diseases. Call it AlphaScent. Thank you in advance, smart people of the world. ✨

Slogans and lies aside , educated biochemists know that the large ribosomal subunit's PTC channel initiates protein folding and much of the rest is guided by chaperone proteins as well as 20 or so different post translational protein modifications such as glycosylations etc. This is in addition to proteases cleaving the protein. Sequence plays a lesser role except at the active sites of enzymes. Add inter individual variations and species variations and CAS and alphafold are a scam on tight resources following a pandemic.

Now I'm excited and worried at the same time about our future. I hope we can tame AI now and even after singularity.

From Alpha Go (Top Go Engine Player) to Alpha Zero (Top Chess Engine Player) and Alpha Fold (Top 3D Protein Structure Engine Identification) . The findings can be used to develop numbers of thing for the benefit of humanity. Details implication of this findings should be elaborated. Feedback from the potential scientists is needed. I wish DeepMind Team will use Alpha Fold to discover more for scientific purposes.
