Canik METE sft likes and dislikes.

These guns are absolutely fantastic right out of the box very accurate great trigger & sights Stay Safe and God Bless 🙏🙏

I think it's an insanely great value, but I'd prefer it not have the top-chamber indicator thingy (I don't think it's needed, but I also don't like the striker indicator on the rear). So I'd do away with those two things and make the front sight a bit thinner. The ergos could be a bit better, but they're fine as is (though if you're copying other walther design stuff, why not borrow from the ergos?).
I assume there will be adapter plates to mount larger optics than the smallest optics (Shield RMS/Holosun K size).

I own both, the Canik METE SFT and SFx. No complains from me. Only praises. Both of them are phenomenal handguns!

I love Canik guns! I last bought the Mete and only one gripe which was the sights. The white dot sights are horrible but it also kept the price down so it's not a total wash. When more aftermarket parts come out for Canik they will be the gun to own.

I don't care for the HG6536-N color either, but you can get the exact same gun in black HG6595-N. Both the Mete SFT & Mete SFX come in the tan color & black color models. So that dislike can be crossed off your list. Maybe the black models came out later, however? I just compared the two side-by-side at my local hardware store, and the black is about $5-10 more (which I would gladly pay extra for).

Hi. Just got this gun recently. Wondering if you had an issue with the plus 2 mag base plate not locking into place? There’s no button on mine to lock. The plastic base just kinda slides freely. Is this normal? Doesn’t seem right to me. Any help would be great. Thanks

I love the Canik Mete SFX what I dislike No after market and lack of holsters

Maybe your sft is different than my sft . My has a way long travel and the break is not actually that crisp
So I had a freedom Smith trigger put on.
