10/10 the bear. :) if I do not know the man I can only trust him if he is out of grabbing distance. Although, this goes for everyone these days.

I would NOT trust a random man whos alone in the woods. I would much rather be closish to a bear, thats highley unlikley to even attack me, than some physcho in the woods who could and probably would do who knows what to me

People would believe me if I was attacked by a bear.

You know not like it is going to maul you ripping off out skin and eating you alive while the guy would be crafting weapons and cooking meals

While I get the point of this I honestly would choose the man because it’s not like every man is evil

I don’t know this senario but they are really foolish from my limited understanding, they will pin you down and eat you alive. That is a really not pleasant way to die.

TW: Bear i've already been hurt by a man as a child so bear. The bear would most likely leave me alone but at the very least I wouldn't have to live afterwards with the ptsd and trauma of it. CSA never goes away and has ruled me life and has lead to panic attacks and episodes my service dog now helps me a lot but bear

I would prefer to be with the man at least humans are a bit predictable than animals. Before a crime is carried out, it has to be well calculated and those who often fall victim, are those who do not expect such to happen. Those who are aware of the potential danger are usually prepared mentally in order not to fall victim. I might be worng but thats just the way i see it.

Bears are simple. Their only motivation is survival, so if you can make a bear think you're not worth it, it will leave you alone. But it's impossible to guess a human's motivation, or how to make them think you're not worth the trouble.

I don't think I would rather be attacked by a bear, but to just encounter one, it's different.


I mean, it also depends on the type of bear. The ones I've been close to are brown bears. I wouldn't ever want to run into a grizzly, polar, or hybrid (grolar, pizzly).

I'd choose bear because assuming there isn't anything in the woods except for you and the bear (because if not and you picked the man you would still be near some bears) so I could have a food source.
