The lades would've had an easy time to get Alex' heart rate up, considering how awkward he can be.

The thing is these are all filmed in one go so Alex's heart rate would have naturally gone up after the coffee took effect in the last 2 attempts, it takes about 20 minutes on an empty stomach.
