Ian Mutch | WA Street Art on the Collie Mural Trail

WA artist, Ian Mutch explains the idea behind his mural in Collie, Western Australia. The work is Titled "Fading Habitat" and depicts the Baudin’s Cockatoo, or the White-Tailed Black Cockatoo, in flight, above abstract and hidden details portraying native plants and local blue waters.

WA’s newest street art is just a short drive from Perth Western Australia, in the South West town of Collie. The Collie Mural Trail consists of 40 murals throughout the town and the biggest dam mural in the world on the Wellington Dam wall. Walking around Collie to see all the street art murals is one of the top things to do on a road trip to the South West.
