I remember in your first reaction to them you thought they put the lights on their fretboards to make their instruments look cool when it's dark. Today, they are much more experienced musicians but still have the manufacturers place the lights there. They still feel safer being sure where they put their fingers when there are no lights on stage.

When Ale fell, it was the first song of their opening set. I have seen different angles of when she hit, square on her tailbone and she hit hard! Carlos was behind an amp, on stage because he does that a lot, checking Pau's kit during the first song, making sure everything on the kit is tight, so he was on the way before she hit the floor. I wish you had gone back and listened to the crowd reaction after she was back up. It was a great "You Rock!!" reaction for her. They enjoy each other and when they mess up...they LAUGH. They drop a new album on June 28th, so be ready for requests from TWA. We are kinder than TNA, I think.

In 1977, I saw Led Zeppelin in Houston. Jimmy Page did a quick turn in those platform shoes, and wiped out; right on his back. After a second of shock, he began soloing on his back. Robert Plant, standing next to him at the mic stand, seeing he was ok and playing, just laughed in a way that communicated "of course he can!". It was magic and the crowd loved it - of course. Why? Because it is an achievement which takes poise, skill, character and perseverance and we cheer that on. As you say, recoveries in life are among the things we come to value. Good show.

It's not the blue guitar, as often she does nothing to the guitar, I think it's her forgetting, once in a while, to switch the preset back to the main one on her Kemper pedal board. She has a setup per song and then presets for main playing, clean, solos, palm mutes, etc. and sometimes she selects the new song, but forgets to switch the preset back to the main one. I could be wrong, but from watching her recent live rig rundown on the Digital Tour Bus channel, this makes more sense to me.

Also for some context the one with Dany poking Pau for the lyrics and some others, are from a private show in the UK, where they played old songs that they hadn't played in years.

I get it, It's not so much about the mistakes, but how they recovered from them. there's a lot of bands that will get all flustered and bent outa shape. The Warning just keep going like it didn't even happen. professional in the truest sense.

Wow David, you really did enjoy the video! Hope none of the pitchfork and torch people show up - this was a light hearted video and reaction. And everyone should know that your approach to this is "been there, done that, got the tee shirt". One story (unconfirmed) I read, about Ale's fall during the beginning of their very first song in front of Muse, was that after the concert - Matt Bellamy showed Ale a compilation of videos where he fell down on stage! Stuff happens during concerts, and it does show they really are singing the lyrics and playing their instruments....

Great reaction, Dave. One thing totally unnecessary was the apologies. When I saw you uploaded this , I already Iknew how your reaction would be because in your past reactions not only to The Warning but other artists, whenever you see a mistake or technical problem, yeah you laugh, but never to mock them. You're laughing with them because you completely relate to it, and you usually commend the professionalism on how they work through it. So no need to apologize. Yes, there might be a very slight few who don't like your reaction, but what matters is the remaining large majority who totally get the reason behind your reaction. Hell, if you were watching this with DPA, they'd be laughing along with you. Stay well man 🤘

@elvwood
@elvwood - 01.04.2024 20:45

Exactly! What's important is how you deal with the problem. When I was at a concert by The Home Service, a guitar string broke and guitarist Graeme Taylor didn't have a second guitar...so everyone else jammed while he changed the string and tuned it. Then he stood up, did a theatrical wipe of the forehead with the back of his hand, and off they went with the rest of the song. Everyone cheered! When I saw Ultravox later that year, Midge Ure dealt with a similar problem by holding out the guitar and waiting for someone to bring him another, which was certainly effective but didn't earn him a cheer.

Great reaction and its better because you do it for the perspective of a pro musician that experiences similar situations.
The Warning Argentina its a fan account running by Caro (Carolina) and uploads a lot of content of the band, interviews, streams, vlogs, short videos and specially make a very good compilations called "The Warning - Funny moments", at this moments she uploaded 17 of these videos, TWA knows these videos and enjoying a lot because show the girls as they are, very down to earth people and very human.
In a recent interview Rudy, their manager, talks about the process to open to Muse, he said that he was in contact to Muse before the pandemic, when Muse come to México, The Warning was in the final list of bands but at the last moment Muse choose a band from their country, very good friends of them.
Last year Rudy try again to be choosen to open at least the concert in Monterrey but the things don´t look very well. His final shoot was talk to Caro and asked if she can search all the times DPA said Muse is their favorite band. Caro did her work and send Rudy a ton of videos with the girls saying it through the years. The Warning team made a video from these material and send to the band. The result was they opened for Muse, a dream come true.
In the concert of The Warning in Argentina the girls talk a lot with Caro and after the concert Rudy go to the front of the concert hall to see Caro and give her the song list signed by the girls and other presents from the band. Caro truly is a outstanding member of TWA.

David, I think you have grossly underestimated the gracious nature of TWA. If your video had been mean-spirited, we might come at you with swords drawn. As it stands, we can appreciate a little ribbing of the girls now and then, and so (I'm sure) can DPA. Like you said, if anything, this video showcases the fact that these young ladies are consummate professionals who can laugh at themselves when their humanity shows on stage and carry on with the show, rather than throwing an Axl Rose temper tantrum.

I love The Warning, and find this HILARIOUS. They screw up better than anyone because they are so light-hearted about it when they do. Their stage crew are usually well prepared with a fix. When you are on tour, anything can and will happen! Might as well make it a funny moment. Great reaction!

I was at the London gig on 29th May (and will be seeing them again in London in just under 3 weeks) and I think for most of us we were just too happy to finally get to see the ladies to worry too much about the odd flub The missing drum fill from Evolve was my personal favourite because i was only about 3-4 bodies from the front in front of Dany and could also see the side of the stage where their dad was standing. Pau missed the fill and as she shot a look to her left, dad was having a good laugh at her expense! While they have clearly progressed further in this past year you could see they were still having "pinch me" moments when the crowd sang back to them. The organisers of the 29th May show had it filmed and it is on YT as UK Private Show (as it was originally a fan funded kickstarter project that was delayed for 3 years due to Covid) which you'll probably enjoy watching in your own time.

Whst this video says about The Warning is:
- that as a collective they are good dports with a great sense of humour;
- that Alejandra never makes mistakes,.she only has accidents... 2 of them;
- that Paulina pretends a mistake is not happening and keeps going;
- that Daniela is a master of recouvering from a mistake but, even better, she uses it as an opportunity to use thdm to further engage with the audience onstage, showing her ability as a professional while also her inate goofy lovable nature.
In short, it makes them look utterly adorable.
