When I was your age I used Geritol too and there was good difference. I keep it handy still.

Hi. What is the difference between the cream in the jar vs. the cream in the bottle? You might have said it earlier and I might have missed it while reading the comments.😊

Looove the ORS in the jar, haven't seen the bottle one ill check for it! Speaking of brittle, I am sooo tired of it I'm fully natural 4c, I do sooooo much for maintaining and the 2nd day after washing u can't tell I did ish and my hair goes right back into a big claw clip😩the amount of product I run thru is insane & I'm beyond ready to switch to the dark side. Oh lawd don't get me started with sweat, I'm want8ng to lose some weight but sometime I skip workouts bec I don't wanna deal w/the hair drama😩 anyway enough of my rant lol which relaxer do u use, im starting to do some research on finding an efficient stylist, bec once braid season is done I need dat creamy craxck!😅

My ends never stay moisturized. They stay breaking even with trims and dusting. My new growth is excellent it’s fuller and thicker but my ends no matter what stay crusty snd crunchy

U ain't lie'n! The moisturizer is a GAME CHANGER! For real!!!! My hair is softer and moisturized. A little goes a long way. Oh! The Geritol video helped me so much. I was extremely iron deficient. I'm taking vitamins and taking care of my overall health. I've been seeing an extreme difference in my hair. I want my hair to grow back.

Girls I'm struggling..... I HATE the way my hair feels with products on it!? I don't like how it feels oily/greasy if I touch on my hair. I usually just use a leave in conditioner with an oil on top, but it's not enough and I want to take care of my hair so I've been going back to how my mom use to do it using products like the ones in videos like these. My hair looks good and it feeeels, but I don't like the feeling? :/

I went back to loc method using Blue Magic Hair grease, shea butter blend and creamy leave in. My hair is growing like crazy now, no setbacks, my hair is thick and healthy. I love the Indian Hemp and Hair food by Blue Magic. Old school works, and let's not talk about the $2.99 a tub.💕💕💕

There are only 3-sometimes 4 products I use on a regular basis after I shampoo (every 3 days). I'm an LCO method girl just because it makes sense to me that using the oil(s) last is going to seal-in moisture better than anything else. I use Camille Rose Honey Hydrate Leave-In Conditioner, African Pride Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Conditioner Cream, and the African Pride Hair Moisture Miracle Strengthen and Protect 5 Essential Oils.

These have been working wonders for my hair type and I'll switch them up if that ever changes. I also use the African Pride or As I Am Pre-Poo for wash days when I need extra moisture. Pretty basic, but the shampoos and rinse-out conditioners are where I switch-up and try new things on the regular.

Glad these work well for you. ORS products (these 2 moisturizers and the boxed relaxer) have causes me a lot of breakage, shedding and constant greasiness and heaviness regardless the amount of product used...

Thanks for the vid! Imma try this one out for sure! Ive been having a bit of trouble with the front of my hair: split ends have been trying to ruin my journey. Funny enough, the split ends ARE ONLY AT THE FRONT!!! My nape is beautiful and grows out lovely consistently. I've been doing dusting and a liytle trimming on my own where the split ends are concerned. Im not sure I have gotten THE moisturizer as yet, though. I will definitely try what you suggested in the video. Would you have any videos on how to grow the front part of the hair as this part is a problem area for me ATM. I need to tackle it head on this year! No retreat. No surrender!

Thanks Megz!

So many edge controls contain DMDM Hydantoin and Hydrolyzed protein too. Read the ingredients and learn about them. I’m so grateful to the dermatologist who educated me on the products and ingredients that is destroying our hair and I am relaxed. It’s going to take me at least 6mos to get my hair healthier but now I know what to look for in my hair products.

Please read the ingredients in the Fortifying Cream Hair Dress… particularly DMDM Hydantoin. Research that chemical. It is NOT good for our hair. I threw out all of my hair products that contain it. I’m not promoting Keracare but they do not use that chemical in their products. Also, I had a lot of breakage and had no idea why. A dermatologist had me bring in my products and to my surprise almost all of my products contained protein. My blow dry sprays, leave in conditioners, moisturizer conditioners. No, it wasn’t advertised on the front that it contains protein but the Derm showed and told me that… Hydrolyzed silk, wheat, collagen are all proteins. Unbeknownst to me, my hair was suffering from protein overload.

I like to use a tiny amount of Mizani Rosewater Hairdress from mid-strands to ends. If I have a little chi silk infusion I'll add about three drops to each side. Then I either pin it up the way you have here or I might set it with four flexi-rods...tends to come out soft and bouncy.

Hi Megz! Love it when you upload! I just learned that sealing lots of oil and butter for moisture in my hair possibly led to moisture overload cause I was treating my relaxed hair as if it was non-relaxed! I have more to learn on my hair journey like how my low-porosity hair doesn’t go well with proteins, so excited to receive Olaplex in the mail and be in a new relaxed journey. Looking forward to seeing more of your journey!
