Stephen Boyd was a great actor.

Good to see Boyd in a leading role. Looks like he healed up nicely 10 years after being run over by Ben Hur's chariot.

Apart from European ' local color ', impossibly dull film.

The music is terrible. They had so many good composers in the sixties. Why use Basil Kirchin?

Fun movie.

I remember seeing this one when it was first released. Kind of mediocre, but pretty locations and Camilla Sparv was always nice to watch.

This almost reminds me of the ski scenes in The Pink Panther, and it was shot just a few years after. Stephen Boyd (real name Billy Millar) was in major films like Ben Hur. Another spy flick he did several years before this one is: The Man Who Never Was, based on a true spy story from World War II.

I was 16 when this came out. Austria and Germany were exactly like they are portrayed in this film. England was more "swinging" but Austria and (many parts of) Germany generally looked far more, clean, ordered, tidy and elegant. Even at 16, I could see that England was headed to become a bit of a dump. It's heyday was between 1963 and 1969. Come the early 70s, it seemed to take a rapid downturn. Now, London and many parts of England look like middens.

One of my favorite spy movies. An excellent cast.

Steven Boyd would have been a good James Bond.

We tried, but could not finish this one. Too much skiing; not enough espionage.

Never heard of it or any of the actors. Enjoyed it, and it kept me guessing.

Great film with an excellent twist at the end...

I'M not a Stephen Boyd fan. CERTAINLY NOT IN THIS KIND OF FILM. HE'S MORE SUITED FOR THE OLD BIBLICAL FILMS, as a Roman soldier/gladiator such as Ben Hur,just like Charlton Heston, he looks out of place wearing a suit, unless it's made of armour, or cowboy clothing
