Truth always comes by revelation. Key word here...ALWAYS! And of course I'm referring to Objective Truth, not subjective truth...like the Dallas Cowboys are the best team, ever. That's subjective truth, small "t" objective Truth, capital T...ALWAYS comes by revelation. Mormonism is a false god and religion.

I'm religious. I fully respect that you are not but I feel like this is a channel I can say my beliefs on. I don't think I'd be judged by you. I think God called you out of Mormonism. I think you are an incredible person who is currently doing amazing things and will do amazing things in your life. Maybe one day you are going to go to Italy and do something amazing that truly helps the world. I know it sounds cheesy but I like the analogy of that's God's mission for you. Not the church's. I grew up being told churches are not houses of God in any way. We carry God with us.

These "revelations " we feel, also just make us sound looney to anyone outside of the church. Being super in touch with the holy spirit, brings a lot of positive attention from members of the church. But to our peers at school and work, we just sound kind of pathetically crazy and weird. It also really depends on how involved your family is. My dad took things way too far. He made sure to fill my head with all of the nonsense fairytale type stuff. He kept the lie about the devil being in the water on Sundays going for years. In 2 housea that he built a popl. Like past 5th grade he was filling our heads with nonsense. I was the only kid in elementary school whose parents didn't allow me to attend sex Ed in 5th and 6th grade. My parents were the only ones in our ward, who didn't allow kids to attend sex ed. My dad can be a fanatic about things. He took his leadership role of being a husband and father way to freaking seriously. My dad managed to make strict Mormon rules, even more rigid and ridiculous

If your revelation led you leaving the church then Maybe it was divine! Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Look at the Gospel of Luke and Acts. It is based on research and eye witnesses. Jesus said to search the scriptures, the Hebrew and Greek Bible. ....Stay away from Mormon private inventions.

Moŕmonism is institutionalized insanity. As with most insanity, there's a bit of genius mixed in, but the insanity keeps it's people in slavery to the institution.
