No stainless steel frets :(
ОтветитьLove it. No lefty model. Ugh.
ОтветитьAbsolutely love Richard’s playing every time. Quite the master tonesman.
Ответить9-42 strings?
ОтветитьSick playing
ОтветитьGreat to finally hear Richard doing an actual review (in addition to the masterclass playing demo!). Richard's excellent presentation and informed, objective comments and information add so much more value and quality to the complete vid. Top class all the way. Thanks Richard.
ОтветитьI have one, came Saturday. The quality’s off the chart
ОтветитьIn talking with a tech support guy at Fender, he said there is an access window in the center rear plate. So this should make it easy to change strings.
Ответитьbest guitar demo ever i’ve seen, thank you
ОтветитьHow is tremolo tuning stability?
ОтветитьIf it had nickel or chrome hardware, Id buy one. I'm not a fan of gold hardware
ОтветитьTried one of these - amazing neck, sustain is wicked, looks fantastic, but... just couldn't get the sounds I wanted. Not sure why, so returned it. But if these are the sounds you like, then it's an outstanding guitar.
ОтветитьI like the contours but they are to sharp and harsh. The only thing I like about vintage Fenders are the smooth rounded curves.
ОтветитьOrdering one of these bad boys later this week! Can’t wait to see what this thing can do!
ОтветитьI bought a charvel pro mod DK 24 red ash. And it seems like the pots aren't actually a no load tone control with the click , and also the volume doesn't seem like frictionless, pretty frictional tbh.
I don't know if it's because it's made in korea ? Either way I'm sending it back to Thomann because it's like it was built with the wrong parts
I'm trying to get hold of this guitar, but it seems no one has it in stock! I live outside the US, and I just can't find a place to buy the guitar. Do you have any idea why that may be?
ОтветитьOw man, I wish they had this model for left-handed players 😭😭😭
Ответитьsetup sucks strings are tooooo looooooow
ОтветитьThanks for a very interesting review.
ОтветитьExcellent review thank you. Concise and informative with lovely playing. Apart from tuning, what was the set-up like out of the box? Thank you.
Ответитьvery beautiful is that heavy
ОтветитьBrilliant as always Richard ! I only regret the slimness of the neck on this one. Can't play thin necks...
ОтветитьDoes any know whether the baked maple fingerboard needs to be refinished if it is de-fretted/re-radiused prior to installing stainless steel or Jescar frets? I notice that the Charvel website says "hand-rubbed satin urethane" so I don't know if that means it would need re-finishing to stop it from going old-school maple mouldy. Thanks.
ОтветитьCan you do a dk22 review no good ones out there
Ответитьis this any good for metal ?
Ответитьyour guitar sound s so awesome that I actually bought a Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HSH 2PT CM Mystic blue today. Could you share your guitar action height?and pikcups height?
ОтветитьBy far the best review of this model. You can actually get a good idea of the tone difference between the pickup selections.
ОтветитьHave a Charvel GG 1 month old. Best instrument I ever owned between some Teles, Strats and Les Pauls. It’s a pure new level of experience and playing. I just don’t need to fight the guitar anymore when I play it since it begs to be plugged in. Tele was a very shall I say, tempered bastard that I couldn’t own it myself. She didn’t let me win her on our 15 year marriage so I sold her 😃 and raised my white flag.
ОтветитьI'm sure yer playing is what separates your tones from mine but..... I like the guitar but don't love the tone. You are getting a brighter tone than I'm hearing. The string definition to me isn't always there on mine. Its a little muddy at time. My biggest complaint is the fret work. Mine is TERRIBLE. I'm surprised I don't cut myself sliding up and down the neck. Don't want to pay too correct it and don't' want to take the time to do it myself. Shouldn't have to for what I paid. Others like Schecter and others do GREAT fret work for even less money but not here. I bought it online so I didn't have a chance to try it first. The rest of the build is fine but just not the fret work. I kept it but to be honest for what I paid I could do better. Too bad something thats looks so good doesn't play as well.
ОтветитьGetting Nuno vibes from that awesome track
Ответитьsounds great is it heavy?
ОтветитьSonically speaking, what is the main difference, or say how different is this one compared to the regular alder body dk24 hsh? I can't seem to find a lot of information on that on the internet
ОтветитьHey man that is one HOT lick!!! Where do I go to learn how to play that !
ОтветитьHe sounds like Blues Saraceno
ОтветитьThis is the fourth time I've watched this video. I really like that guitar.
ОтветитьThat’s probably the Charvel I’m gonna buy
ОтветитьJust bought one after seeing this review/demo. thanks!
ОтветитьThis or ibanez Az2204 ?
ОтветитьWhen you’re talking about the tone control, is it supposed to click into place on 10? In the video it seemed as if 9 was the max then it would click into place for cutting the tone switch out on 10
Ответитьthis guitar is on my wish list, just need to figure how to sneak it past the wife...
ОтветитьReally great to see a proper product demo rather than just noodling on a guitar. This looks like a great ‘Swiss army knife’ guitar that you could use for pretty much any type of session or gig. It’s simple but has lots of practical and useful features- very tempted
ОтветитьNot exactly the type of guitar I would pick up for Blues in C minor...
ОтветитьI tried one of these in a store today. What cannot come across in a review is how playable this guitar is. So effortless it almost feels like cheating. I also tried the Charvel Guthrie Govan. Of course it's not as good, but in terms of playability it was really, really, REALLY close ans less than one third of the price. I think I might replace my Ibanez with it
Ответитьvery versatile ❤
ОтветитьYou are one Bad Ass Axe slinger !!!!!!!
Ответитьdoes the wood of body & neck have any treatment at all?
I've heard of Charvel necks that have none and wear off/look nasty af in a matter of days
what speaker is in your vox ac15 amp? Cheers
ОтветитьThis guy does a nice job!
