Haydn is peerless in the classical keyboard sonata as well as several other genre. There I said it!
ОтветитьHaydn immenso genio !@@@ grande come Mozart nelle sonate per piano. Colui che dall' alto della sua suprema perizia consegnera ' Mozart e Beethoven un nuovo linguaggo!!! Genio tanto grande quanto poco conosciuto al pubblico . VARENNA , lago di Como , 26.01.3023
ОтветитьThank you mr Brendel !! We love you.. !!!!
ОтветитьOh.! Mr Brendel . You are a fantastic musician, before to be an extraordinary pianist ! Thank you for your effort to explore the soul of our misic geniusues !!!@
ОтветитьI was reading the comments about this piece above and whoever wrote it referred to some elements of this sonata as being "Beethovenian." Waa? Jesus, who came first? Beethoven came AFTER Haydn! Haydn is NEVER "Beethovenian! Haydn wasn't imitating Beethoven! Beethoven was imitating HIM. Musicologists need to get that shit straight. Stop acting like Beethoven came before him and calling his music "Beethovenian." Like Haydn was "almost like Beethoven." LOL This really annoys me to no end. HE was the imitator, not them. In fact if you listen to this sonatas second movement, you can definitely hear in the b flat minor section where beethoven got the idea for his 1st movement of the Moonlight sonata. And yet musicologists call this "Beethovenian" --- LOL
ОтветитьSorry but this a far more nuanced and realized composition than any sonata that Mozart ever wrote

ОтветитьBrilijantno svirate klavir. 🌹🌹🌹
ОтветитьHaydn's influence on Beethoven is unmistakable
ОтветитьThis sonata really sucks. I do not know how Haydn could write such a thing. There is no contrast, all the topics are almost the same, one solid mud.
ОтветитьThat 'Ole Boy sure know how to tickle the ivories!
ОтветитьHaydn is Sublime Beautiful Melodic Inventive Fascinating as Always!!! Mr. Brendel is probably the 2nd Best Haydn player after the also Very Good Emmanuel Ax!!! May God Bless y'all Richly and Jesus Peace!!! ❤😮😂🎉
ОтветитьHere, in my opinion, we are seeing a Rare interpretation....
Haydn's "few notes", with its geometric structures, are Clear, Balanced, and really full of Beauty and Pathos....all visible in the ecstasy of Mr. Brendel's facial expressions....
Pure Art ✨
I think I can hear Mozart and Beethoven in this piece. I wonder which way the influence (if any) ran?

ОтветитьUna splendida esecuzione, bellissimo suono, rotondo e caldo, gran gusto nel fraseggio ed equilibrio in tempi e dinamiche: un vero Maestro
ОтветитьI’m in awe of any one who plays a musical instrument….i know nothing about how one constructs a tune, timing, placing of notes, and actual reading of a music sheet. Keep playing, as I think you’re brilliant!
Gracias
ОтветитьThe best!
ОтветитьI'll be completely honest. I only came here for Lestat's part, and I fell in love with the whole piece.

ОтветитьThis is one of the greatest sonatas ever. The second movement is as profound and beautiful as the best the likes of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and Liszt have to offer.
ОтветитьThe was beautiful
