Jamaica has experienced a serious brain drain for years now, as does Haiti. So the idea that because that this one person means the worst from developing countries have immigrated to the US is absolute garbage. The majority of Jamaicans who immigrate, do so to work hard and achieve something for themselves and their family. Many of us excel but do we have those of us who commit crimes and disgrace Jamaica, absolutely. Is this a reflection of the great majority of Jamaican immigrants? Absolutely not, so you should be careful when you put forth certain premises.
