Sam came to my attention via her collaboration with Jon Lord in co-writing Wait A While, then The Sun Will Shine Again written specifically for Frida - two beautiful songs with heartfelt lyrics.
A wonderful talent who seems to have both feet on the ground.

Such a tragedy how Sam lost that amazingly angelic voice.
I hope she continues to find happiness in everything she does. ❤

Sam, if it means anything, I've watched your performance of Great Gig (PULSE 1994) at least 250 times, and still do weekly. I get chills every time you "growl" on that video. (Watching you sing it is half the reason). So passionate and powerful. I've also been watching the "Reactions" video as new viewers watch it for the first time. They're all blown away by your performance. It never gets old. Nor do you! Enjoy your life. You've given me and thousands of others such happiness.

Kate Bush vocals and Terry Hall evolution for the 8 album - Sam Brown you are a national treasure. Great gig in the sky - these vocals should be flying with Voyager 1 & 2 in an ideal world.

Loved you then, love you now. My first 'celebrity' crush. I still rmember the internview you did.. cant recall the show.. where a disembodied voice interviewed you and you made a cup of tea in the middle of the interview. So different!

"Oh how i love my tea TEA in the afternoon, i cant live without it... and i think i will have another cup very VERRRRRYYYY soon"

Glad you are back creating

Hi Sam, I remember having tickets to see you in your brothers band at the stage in Stoke on Trent, I thought I
would go to the stage next door pub for a drink before the show and sat next to a blonde haired girl and chatting and asking her if she was going to watch Sam Brown and she said yeah, and then it dawned on me that it was you lol I felt such a dick and you looked at me as if to say Oooops!!
the penny has dropped lol I am so sorry to hear about you losing your voice, but what a legacy you will leave honey, the vocal performance on Stop was right up there with everyone who has ever sang a legendary song, Cheers for the memories also you spared me of looking a right tit, I swear it still keeps me up at night lol. xx

Sam, I adore you and love you to bits.
I guess that it was your song 'Stop' that woke me up to how good your voice was, but then seeing you singing with Pink Floyd in 1994....sure that I saw you with Jules Holland also, so I was an admirer...
So sorry about your Mum Sam!!
You seem such a 'Nice' Human Being and you're SO coherent, so Normal... humble.
I had a good friend called John Brown (Fender Man) who used to play the ukulele with your Dad, George Harrison and Brian May (I believe). Did you know John....I imagine you did?

I'd forgotten how much I love your work. Thank you for putting me back in touch with it. What a phenomenal voice! A friend of mine suffering from depression was told to learn ukulele. It's impossible to be miserable with a uke. Turned out to be true. I'd love to see more of just you a uke, and some soulful songs! If that makes sense.

In 1988 kregen mijn man verkering.

Your vocal part on the live Great Gig in the Sky gives me goose bumps and brings tears of joy to my eye every time I hear it. I've been a gigging guitarist/singer for 45 years and when I hit about 50 I found I couldn't hit the notes singing like I could hit easy in my early 40's. The band decided to de-tune a semi-tone to help us all as we were all around the same age. It helped a lot for 10 years but now in my 60's that's even tough. I quit playing live last year to take care of my wife who has health issues and needed me home. I do miss it and find it hard to get enthused to even play my guitars anymore. I try to play an hour or so every day, but it is hard to stay at it. I feel your sadness about not being able to do what you could once. Sadly, playing and singing music is a perishable skill for most of us and it fades as we age. Keep doing what you're doing and play your instruments. It keeps us musicians' sanity intact.
