First time seeing this game, and the art style is ok... but I don't like the drifting smoke.. it looks some shadowy claws

It's also on Game Pass, although Ihaven't gotten around to playing it.

Multiplayer in this game unfortunately doesn’t work for me. I’m on PC and every time I play multiplayer it crashes my game/pc, and I’m running a 4070 It’s really disappointing how these updates aren’t in single player.

Played it on PC two summers ago, it was okay. Played it this summer on PS5, and enjoyed it a little more due to the dual sense controller... But definitely didn't find a need to buy it outright when it left free to play.

I gave up on the NFS franchise after NFS 2015, all the games beyond that is just stupid & a waste of money.

I forgot this game even existed until I saw the tyre smoke. Then I went "Ohh. That NFS".

nfs has the easiest formula and they never do it
underground 2, but new map and new cars...simple

Omg! Thank you for commenting on the "hello fellow kids"! Im an older gamer and found that so cringey that I couldn't keep playing it. Maybe that's how boomers felt when we played Underground 2 but man. Lol

@gameranxTV I wouldn't call Forza and GT hardcore realistic racing sims. The guys with sim cockpits would highly disagree.

Whelp I see the cars still do the invoulentary wobble when returning to neutral after a turn...still a nope factor for me which sucks. Little things like this and NFS shift 2 when the driver automatically turned their head into a corner when you turned... just stop it plz 😅

I am Gen Z and also cannot stand the terrible dialogue. Many of us are sick of diversity/inclusion/politics taking priority over gameplay.

Crazy coincidence that u guys release this video now! Just picked the game up in the recent sales and have been having a great time so far, really surprised that's it's so decent I was unfortunately expecting worse from a need for speed game. But so far this has been a fun game.

We got Bikes in NFS before GTA VI.

The thing about this story is that it's not even "in your face Gen Z" it's just BAD, as a Gen Z myself, it is so bad I didn't even complete this game while I was playing on game pass. Riddell is the only good character in this game and that's it. Story is bad, doesn't matter if you want to give it a generational semblance or not; it's poorly executed.

Personally I don't like online drama, it's lackluster. They could have gone in hard with the heel turn at the beginning and had the antagonist (i dont even remember her name thats how bad this is), be more like Razor in terms of sabatoge, which is what I am guessing the story is supposed to somewhat take inspiration from, but it doesn't at all it's all petty beef and leaves you with no feeling of wanting to take her down besides to get her to shut up. I actually went and played Payback after playing this game and I am 100% able to say, that is a good story, simple to follow and easy to get behind; The House bad, gather an alliance and take them down -- that's a good take on a nfs story.

The gameplay is waterdowned Heat (and I love Heat) having very minimal fun activities to do while being overly repeative for the weeks. I like the Takeover events with ASAP Rocky because he's a great hypeman in this or even the deliveries with Trish (who I like to hate because damn her for always getting us into trouble lol). I might give it a shot again whenever it's really cheap, as to me this game is not worth full price or even half. I would encourage the Criteron to not make a story like this ever again. Even Most Wanted 2012 was better and that's basically a Burnout game with no story besides taking down the Blacklist. Heck, even Undercover or The Run have more redeeming qualities than this game.

I don't care if we want to use Gen Z slang, but oh my gosh can we please have a gritty story like Most Wanted 2005 or even something with a simple mission like becoming the Street King in ProStreet. There is nothing wrong with simple, it's NFS Im only here to rice out my car and use older cars. Also, that brings me to another thing, modern racers are just product placements for luxury brands and it's driving me insane.

The game is good in terms of a driving game but the story and characters fell very short. The dialogue feels forced and far from genuine. This game reminds me of need for speed 2015. The game mechanics and core are good but everything else falls short.
