Nice video! I like your vids in general, you usually have good thoughts/comments on the fights and different strategies. Even if this doesn't end up being the ultimate tact for my guild, it will sure help some raiders get a better grip on the fight! Keep up the good work, mate! Cheers

Liking the strat alot. We've tried it and healing the raid and add control is definatly easier. But our issue is the tank dying. Any tips to keeping them alive with both Nef and Ony?? It's a DK tank, Disc priest, Holy Pala, resto Druid. Azu

............They said it couldn't be done! Props to the healers, this strat seems to rely on them quite a bit more. The whole raid soaking completely avoidable AoE is what I'm referring to.

@gabestah Actually that is a pretty big misconception atm with the WoW community and how different tanks perform on different fight types. DKs are actually good tanks for this type situation due to their self healing being % based of dmg taken. Druids are extremely strong tanks for this as their armor is usually much higher, and post 4.1 with savage defense buff they will probably be out pacing any other tank on mitigation, atm they are much better for anything less than 3 mobs anyway.

Frost mages can kite the adds in p1 indefinitelly, since when they appear they arent with their buff, so the mage can aggro them and take some hits in the process with no problem. When they are grouped up, the frost mage can CC them indefinitelly. This seems a bettter way in a 10 man so you dont have to put the dragons together in one tank.

This is probably the most shittiest UI i've seen in a very long time and no one should play like this...

I am protection paladin 359 geared,9% dodge,13% parry and 53 block.Healers are shammy, holy pala and resto druid geared like and pretty skilled.Given that we have no heroic gear,is this tactic any doable for our setup? Thanx for the attention.

@gabestah Thanx a lot dude.We had 3 tanks and had wipes due to loss of dps in p3,at like 15-16% due to add tank dying cause there were no space to kite em.We'll definitely try it.Godlike mode is is!

@danilocps That is true, but like the video says, this strategy is meant for raid groups who are lacking those nice cc's we'd all like in this fight (or a competent kiter). My raid group tried this tonight and found phase 1 went smoother with a tank getting the adds while the MT (myself) took both dragons at once. Just can be a bit scary for the healers with both dragons down and beating the hell out of one tank.

I suppose this strat would make sense if you don't have anyone in your entire raid that can manage to kite whatsoever. The added dragon damage at the start though just seems unnecessary I have to say. Whole thing could be a lot less "kick you in the nuts" on the healers if you just have one person that can manage to kite the adds while the tanks actually tank the dragons.

I just puged my first raid, we made it all the way to nef which was amazing in and of itself. The explanation of this fight on the fly was a lot to take in i think for mst of us whome also never ran this before. But after watching this, it helped an incredible ammount to clarify and totaly simplify things. I really appreciated that you discussed many different stragities you have used, and why they can work with different raid setups ect which is good for pug not knowing the raid make up. TYVM!

thanks for this video! I pugged this raid and no one knew the boss fight, so now that I have some insight on how to do this we're going to attempt it. What was the make up of your raid? I see a pally and druid tank, pally/priest/sham healer?
