A Minimalist iPad Pro Only Desk Setup | 2023

Where is the external SSD and how do you connect and use it.

Do you know how far across the desk the X36 stand can extend? I have a deep desk and would need it to extend to at least 24 inches in order for me to write on my iPad. Can you say if it can do so and still be rigid enough to use my Apple Pencil? Great video, by the way. I’m very close to moving to the iPad as my only computer. Thanks!

Is there any way to use more than 60 Hz on an external monitor with an iPad Pro M1? I have a 144 Hz screen, which only runs at 60 Hz when connecting the iPad. Which feels very… outdated…?

I’ve been using the iPad Pro m1 paired with the jump desktop app for times when I need to write code (I’m a software developer). I mainly roam with the otter box on because the iPad is basically a second monitor right now. But I do keep the Magic Keyboard in my bag for the times when I travel. It’s perfect!

🐬 My company is moving hybrid, every desk setup for laptop via usb-c - if Apple/Zoom could just sort the external camera compatibility I could go iPad only most days. Lots of promises by reviewers but no tangible evidence of when/if this will happen or will I need yet another iPad M version?!!

Looks great but unfortunately the Microsoft apps on iPad do not have all the features and are still not at the same level as the desktop versions forcing me to still have to revert back to my laptop…

You should use magic trackpad on left of the keyboard. It will help you to use gestures for iPad.

I truly don’t understand why anyone would want to take a platform as limited as iPadOS and force all their core computing needs onto it.

Any keyboard that doesn't have a number pad is garbage to me.

Why does your iPhone only have camera app icons?

I cannot use external monitor support any more. It use to work fine but then stopped awhile ago. Annoying as I only bought the monitor for my iPad. I am using a M2 iPad Pro 12.9 with a usb-c to hdmi cable into an acer monitor. I have even tried my partners M1 11” iPad Pro and a brand new cable and still nothing.
All I get is mirror mode
