I dunno how to sail I tried today and I had a strong upwind against me and I couldnt sail against it no mattar what position my boat or the sail had......

I agree, you offer great advice here. But I'm sure it's not an easy task making a perfect video.

Ha ha! Next time I sail I'm going to do it his way, hoist the main while tied to the dock, with the main sheet tight. Next. install the tiller. Can't believe I've been doing it wrong all these years!

o0 if u looked at this cause u didnt know any better, the best way to learn isnt the video ... its getting your chapmans. Older the better if your into sail.

is Martin M242 good for around the world sailing?

How do you shrink the sail if the wind is too strong so you don't capsize or tilt too much into the water?  I tried looking for a video and seem to not  find any.  I know the sail goes up with these little sliders so do you just bring it a little down and roll it or something so only a portion of it is actually being used?  If you can point me to a video or if you can make one, it would be great.
