What would you say is the best HBG? I'm just starting to get into HBG after switching from IG and GS, and was thinking of using the Legia Shattercryst. From what I see after a bunch of googling, there are a bunch of mixed opinions about it. Some people have said that it's weak and some say that it's the best.

Do you think its worth crafting this HBG ? I still think your video which featured the Bazooka from the Black diablos tree is the best so far; what do you think ?

QUESTION: is there a difference between putting 1 shield mod VS 3 Shield mod?

No... Deviljhoe HBG is a cluster canon and you should put 2 attack augmentation. You said yourself that you should only use explosives ammo so why bother saying that deviation is high and not good with the machinegun.
This gun is good with 3 things. Clust, sleep, wyvern.

When u upgrade slots a second time it turns into a level 2 slot rather than getting 2 level one slots

This HBG needs 2 attack augmentations as it's built for bombardment, a health recovery is almost a waste on it.

Which ammo types are considered explosive and are not affected by affinity? Cluster and Sticky for sure, what about others? I also assume affinity has zero effect on status ammos, true statement?

If you need to craft ammo on a hunt then the bow and bowguns aren’t for you

if attack's not a big deal w/ this bowgun, why do you have mega demondrug in your item loadout?

No slot. Big drawback imo, because magda gun can by itself help with slotting Flawless jewels or Challenger jewels.

Kinda curious why you didn't just throw on a rocksteady mantle, drop the healing puddle, and cluster spam the deviljho to death in the first two minutes.

With that build ( aside from decoration and gamma set, which is not avaible on pc so i replaced the legs and waist with kirin alpha sets and rest was Xenos ) I took on Tempered Kirin in less than 10 minutes. And i Even made lots of mistakes like didn't bring bombberries and failed to sleep him once. That was the best feeling in my life ( game wise ). Have a nice day guys.
