Why Genshin Has The BEST Combat System...

Wuwa had the promise to overcome Genshin´s redundant gameplay but it couldn´t quite deliver imo, Wuwa´s gameplay is more complex than Genshin even if its combat system has less depth, but I find its animations and overall combat timings usually don´t allow for a smooth gameplay with such complexity. I still think both games are fun in their own ways, Genshin more team oriented and Wuwa more skills.

You like elemental reaction turns out can't proc per hits like overload spam, vape hits can't perform millisecond and freeze don't permanent. Wuthering Waves scrapped balance element reaction and focus brute hits quick swap hack and slash. If he don't like Dendro, why he pull Nahida constellation instead Xianyun for Diluc dps than burning reaction focused? He such waste his currency game and screwed up improve account dps ease to use not owning Neuvillette mono hydro or Wriothesley melt reverse or Wanderer mono Anemo.

Combat was always fun, but there's still no skip button.

Genshin combat system is unbalanced, but that what make it fun.

like in card game, we have Yugioh which is famous for being unbalanced with no mana system unlike any other popular card games.
but again, being unbalanced is what make it fun to play.

Elemental reaction system locks a massive portion of the characters in the game from ever being viable. It’s a massive L in my opinion.

I really want another game to try to copy/improve upon Genshin’s elemental reaction system. Instead of being a niche Genshin thing, I hoped Genshin was only the trailblazer and that other games would move forward. I was looking forward to Wuthering Waves and they definitely improved several issues with Genshin. But it also seems like they ignored a lot of the good stuff in place of their own ideas of good combat mechanics and they just didn’t click with me. They also copied the worst aspects of Genshin when it comes to story telling. Even Genshin as of recent is backing away from their annoying exposition queen, Paimon, in place of more engaging characters dialogue. I was surprised they actually let Nathan characters speak and paimon didn’t give a 5 minute summary of the 2 sentences we had just heard.
