She's finally done! My custom hybrid doll, Cheyenne was created using a 12" Rainbow High Doll head, 17" Ever After Doll body, 16" Sybarite Doll Hands, a Blythe Middie eye mechanism... She has 20 points of articulation, not including her eyes that move back and forth, she's has double-jointed knees and elbows, and 4 pairs of exchangeable hands. I plan on using her for doll crafting projects, and stop-motion photography.

Monster High, Ever After High and Barbie all had 17" versions of their dolls that had very nice articulation, but these dolls are now discontinued, and must be purchased second hand. Dressing them is not as challenging as they can "squeeze" into a few curvy Barbie clothes. Shoes are a bit more challenging. Original shoes can be purchased second hand, previously from Mattel's Customer Service and Custom made. I've seen some wear 1/4 BJD shoes and have also purchased 3D printed shoe soles from "Dolls Rescued". I particularly like this size doll because a 1/4 scale doll is easier for me to handle. I enjoy modifying dolls so I try to stick to play-line dolls, that are easily accessible. Hopefully, my hybrid doll will help keep me pacified and keep my doll collecting to a minimum, since my ultimate goal it to down-size my collection...

With my "Ultimate Doll" finally completed, I will try focusing the majority of my crafting towards accessories for her. Also for 2023, I aim to finish all of the crafts I've started...🙄
