Contrary to visual here, Denise Simmons is very opposed to CSO, and has been fighting bike infrastructure for years.

Nowhere has it been mentioned in this survey about candidates who support low income residents who are Section 8 or in jeopardy. None of these candidates except for Simmons and Totten talk about this issue in a direct way. And they have through experience helped these folks. As for bike lanes. Just don't jump the crosswalk and put me at risk of being injured and I will call it a draw. I hate the bike lanes. Mostly I hate the inconsiderate....and there are very considerate cyclists who don't do this.....cyclists who jump the lights and make my life a misery here in Inman Square. As for the ones who are considerate I always thank them. And quite honestly some of these candidates have a nerve to run.I met Zusy she knew nothing about housing. I met Toner...as you suggest he is old style and a very mixed bag. Thanks for the survey. You put alot of work into this. I suggest that people look at the Federal Index for Campaign Contributions to see who took money from Big Time Developers. These candidates should not be voted for. No more high income housing should be built here while people such as myself are living in Section 8 Garbage or are Unhoused. Peace Out.

Important note. Under the AHO 1.0, no units may be made available to households with more than 100% of the AMI. Under the AHO 2.0, there must still be either 30% open space or that required by the base zoning , whichever is less.

Love the video, thanks for making it. One suggestion: keep slides with text longer while talking. The slide with final votes lasts like two seconds.

This video was extremely helpful, especially given how many candidates are running. Thanks for taking the time to make this.

CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS:
- I've been informed multiple times that Denise Simmons is actually VERY anti-bike lane; I don't know how that one slipped through my research, but that is the unfortunate side effect of one-man research projects. I think this certainly dampens my enthusiasm for her, and likely slides her into the MIXED FOR column
- In Simmons' place, I actually would raise Ayesha Wilson into the FOR column; she seems quite determined and committed to public service, and I've heard very little else but excellent thoughts on her time in the School Committee. I recently got to hear from her at the Mothers Out Front forum recently and was pleasantly surprised by what I heard.
- Very personal thought that doesn't really impact the educational part of the video, but after mulling over it I think I might place Sobrinho-Wheeler over Totten now, with Sobrinho-Wheeler as STRONG FOR and Totten as just FOR. This is in part due to conversations I had with other politically active folks in Cambridge, as well as my own opinions after hearing from both of them at the candidate forums.

For those keeping track, this means my updated chart is thus:
STRONG FOR: Klein, McGovern, Sobrinho-Wheeler
FOR: Azeem, McGuirk, Siddiqui, Totten, Wilson, Walker
MIXED FOR: Al-Zubi, Hsu, Nolan, Simmons
DON'T KNOW: Pierre, Wang
AGAINST: Brown, Muchnik, Toner
STRONG AGAINST: Hanratty, Pasquarello, Pickett, Winters, Zusy

WHY: Moree

I really thank you all for the positive and friendly reception to the video - this is my first project of such a scale, and I'm glad to see it's getting a lot of feedback. See you all on November 7th!
