You wet set your expanding anchor bolts for your posts.. These are meant to drill out AFTER the concrete cures. then tightening will expand them

One of your cement base is below ground level. The wooden post bottom will be soak every time it rains. Will eventually get dry rot or termites. Should have made all your cement base higher than ground level. I stop watching after this.

Is notching really necessarry for the top beam? What could happen if you don't notch?

I have been watching video after video and they all show the same thing but none of them show how to anchor the footer that has the whole everything. It doesn’t tell you how to anchor it to the house or to another extension of the roof or that’s what I’m looking for. Does anybody know where there’s a site that tells us how to anchor the main brace, not sure what it’s called because everybody has it already

I built one very similar to yours also using untreated 2 x 6 rafters. Do you worry about the condensation buildup between the metal and the two by sixes where the metal lays on top? I just finished mine this past weekend and took a peek at it before I went to work this morning and noticed it was completely soaking wet underneath from the condensation/dew. Do you have the same issue? I wonder if that would be bad for the untreated wood overtime.

Should have painted the untreated wood before you put them up. Would have made it easier.
