A Budget Casio You Should've Bought Years Ago!

I did order a Casio, a watch I had before, the W201. It is the best in 36mm legibility you have ever seen, with numericals much larger than the silly fetish-cult F91, it is slim, has no protruding spikes and buttons, is very smooth and never gets snagged on anything, whether it is working cramped wiring closets for complicated bomb circuits, or slipping under the cuff of your tuxedo!
The monstrosity you present here has the typical missed opportunity Casio-disease, with a way too chonky case and comparatively small display, I mean, what's the point?
I wish Casio would get a clue for its large case models from SKMEI!
My SKMEI 1560 cost 7 dollars with shipping on AliExpress, it is has a big case with a HUGE display, a ridiculous luminosity when it lights up, and no damned spikes and protrusions, unlike almost all modern Casios! It runs circles around all Casios, if you want a big watch!

I bought the SGW1000 (yesterday!)which is almost identical to this one! It has the triple sensor and positive display. The backlight is like wearing a torch on your wrist and fits my 7.5in wrist perfectly. I already have a ProTrek in my collection which has almost the same functions but cost a whole lot more.

Very similar to one of their Protrek models I had about 10 yrs ago, but that was about 300 quid

Casio Lineage (JDM) LCW-M170TD-1AJF: titanium, sapphire, MB6, 100m WR. Good looking ana-digi with much functionality. Buy in Japan, mine cost GBP 160. Bracelet isn't much, but put it on a strap and you'll be fine.

I've been using pro trek 340t as my daily use watch and the digital / analog 6600 model as my more fancier version when I want something that's not all metal... and the one you were showing here I have used before but I gave to one of my kids, but a soil entry watch into the protrek series... 😎✌️

LOVE your videos. I actually bought the SGW-100-2BCF about 2 months ago. Like one of your comments, the negative turned me off so much I sent it back. HOWEVER, seeing your review again, I may have to add it to the collection along with the SGW100B-3V version as well.

If you HAVEN'T seen the, take a look at the AE1500WH, GBD-100/200 and the new GD-010. I accidentally bought the orange GD-010 with the negative display and returned it. Just unreadable. However, definitely going to go back for either the black or green version of it.

And, JSYK, the 2BCF is $47 US while the 3V (Velcro strap) and 1V (resin strap) are $41 US. Just AMAZING!

Reminds me of the Casio WS210H-1AV - Moon and Tide Graph, and solar powered for about $35 USD! Another Casio that is almost a G shock that is great value for the money.

Not a bad looking Casio at that price - Just don't think it would get much wear. I've got plenty of others sitting around. Better than some of the chunky round entry level watches that are huge (although not iconic like the Classic DW9052). Nice if it had solar but cheap enough to change battery by yourself. hmm

Just received my SGW100 and I must say your videos message was very accurate (not that I doubted that). This is a gem, and a bargain. Dare I say it has touches of the Mr.G range with the colourful metallic bezel and polished screws. It hugs my 6.75” wrist and is very comfortable. LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Can you make your content inclusive by formatting the auto captioning into closed captioning please? it is extremely hard to watch it relying only on the auto captioning sadly (I'm Profoundly Deaf)
