About that question of whether a single Space Marine could do damage, that heavily depends on whether the US would know about their existence beforehand, and what Legion they're from.

Some interesting stuff about Chapter Serfs is that among those who failed to become marines, there are actually some who pass all the mental and physical trials, just for an Apothecary to do some blood work and tell them that their biology isn't compatible with the Geneseed.

These unlucky candidates apparently usually stay and become serfs and often mentor and tutor the children of the chapter serfs so they may take the trials themselves. Although, supposedly, there are a few cases on more "developed" recruitment worlds where sometimes they instead go back home and start something like a training school to better prepare future generations for the Trials.

A marine in full armor is about 1000kg according to the Deathwatch TTRPG.

The chaplains are like the chapters teacher and therapist they uphold the chapter’s traditions and ensure they follow the codex and other rules glad you said ‘therapist’ because that is usually what they are they are there for when people get interred into dreadnoughts alongside techmarines and when firstborn cross the Rubicon Primaris

the tech marines are still just as loyal and pretty much just know how to repair a gun if it jams.
The tech marines that are sketchy and wear red are the ones that actually trained on mars… which is where the void dragon is aka the machine god… who is the same machine god that UR-025 Said he had a conversation with. And iirc there was a time where a chapter was fighting neurons and the tech marines were paralyzed and slaughtered without resistance. Giving a little more evidence that the machine god really is the void dragon
